Hi Toni,
Sorry I’ve been so out of touch. Thank you for thinking of me and checking in. I meant to let you know I would be unable to make the August zoom meeting as I was doing last minute vacation preparations, as I left the next day for twice two weeks to visit family in NH. I was also very worried about whether or not I’d be able to get one of my two new boys into the carrier to bring to NH with me. Thankfully all worked out and the 4 of us made it safely to NH and back again. I fulfilled my promises that I made to both Spirit and Autumn Ranger. On August 4, I welcomed two bonded 9 year old declawed boys, Oliver and Sebastian. I chose to keep their given names since they were older boys and I didn’t want to confuse them. They ended up back in the shelter after their human had to enter a nursing home. Oliver is a very out going and friendly and is nicknamed by me, Mr. Pudge, as he weighs in at 17 1bs. We’re trying to work on loosing some weight but time will tell. H… -

Continuing to hold you in prayer Carmelina and hoping that you are able to find some peace and healing in the wonderful memories you shared with Milo, over those 21 years. Never forget that while Milo is no longer with you person, he’s watching over you from the other side of the Rainbow Bridge and loves you from the great beyond as he did when he was with you. Holding you in prayer.

So sorry to hear of Scarlett’s passing. Please don’t blame yourself for not being aware of Scarlett’s illness. Animals have a way of hiding illness abs disease until it’s to late. Both of my girls whom I lost with in less than two months of each other would never have been diagnosed with their thyroid and kidney disease if they hadn’t presented with other medical concerns for which I brought them to the vet. Scarlett wants you to try to remember and cherish all the wonderful happy times you shared together. Her love for you even from beyond is unconditional. Holding you in prayer.

Kristi,
I’m so sorry for the loss of your dear sweet boy Apache and for his fur sister who is grieving his loss as much as you are. Hopefully the two of you in your own special ways will be able to help each other heal. Praying for you and Apache’s fur sister during these difficult and painful times. -

Marybeth,
I’m so sorry for you and your family during this difficult and painful time. It’s never easy to say good bye to a beloved fur baby. I myself know I lost my Spirit and Autumn Ranger within less then two months of each other both passed from Thyroid and Kidney disease. Hopefully in the remaining weeks that you have with this dear sweet boy, you and your family can create some wonderful memories with him. Maybe even create a bucket list of things you’d like to do with him, if he’s not in to much pain, to create wonderful and lasting memories. I think it’s very touching that your son sees this precious boy as part of the family and wants to have him included in his Senior pictures. That says a lot about your son and the wonderful young man he must be. Holding you all in prayer at this difficult and painful time. -

Glenda, I’m so very sorry to hear of Kissinger’s passing. I think it’s even tougher when they cross the Rainbow Bridge, unexpectedly. Two consolations to hopefully find in his passing is one, you didn’t have to help make the decision for Kissinger and secondly, he knew it was his time and he did everything he could do in his own sweet way to say good bye to you and try to let you know what an important part of his life you were to him. Holding you and all your fur babies in my prayers. -

Once again less then 2 months after the passing of my dear sweet Spirit, who crossed the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge on 5/23/22,
I had to say good bye to my beloved Autumn Ranger on July 18,2022.
The house just isn’t the same, last week I said good bye to you, my beloved Autumn Ranger, the second time I had to make this decision in less then two months. My heart is broken, my grief unbearable but I know to have kept you with me me would have caused you untold pain and suffering. You gently but purrsistently let me know it was time to say goodbye. You who rarely meowed started to do so more and more frequently. You were eating less and less and choosing not to take your meds. And this morning as we laid in bed you pawed me numerous times so I’d pet you and rubbed your head against me looking for your favorite head rubs. While I was enjoying sone extra quality time with you, having had to take the day off for your vet appointment, unlike me you knew today was the day we’d say good… -

Hi Carmelita,
We met at the June Zoom meeting. Just wanted you to know I’m thinking of you and the others who have had to say good bye to a beloved pet. I pray regularly for all animals to have a peaceful pain free death surrounded by those they love and for all mourning the loss of a beloved pet. -

Regina, I’m so sorry to hear that Coco crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I know that grief and pain having lost two fur babies in less then two months. I’m also very happy for you that you’ve found another beautiful girl Bella, who is in need of a loving fur ever home. I’m sure Coco will be very pleased to know you were able to find room in your heart in the midst of your grieving and pain at Coco’s passing. I told my two girls as I said my tearful goodbyes to them that I would adopt two more cats, in their memories, who need a loving fur ever like they once did. -

Got a new little girl last Tuesday. Her name is Asia and she\’s a Maltese Shih tzu mix-
We’ve missed you and Dixie, Chuck. Is Dixie still with you? Oh my dawg….Asia is too cute. Is she a baby? How big (small) is she? Can’t wait to see their summer nail polish choices :-). Bring the girls to our group meeting on Zoom this Thursday. We’ll send an email with the link. So happy to meet Asia. And to hear from you again.

Kissinger is a sweet looking little cat. I pray you and Kissinger will have many years and memories together as you and Bubbles did. I feel your pain Glenda I had to let my dear sweet Spirit cross the Rainbow Bridge last Monday May 23. I took the day off from work knowing I wouldn’t be good to be around and it was good I did, as I found myself sobbing throughout the day. While I didn’t have my Spirit for as long as you had your Bubbles, I have many found memories of her and her two sisters Saraya 16, and Autumn Ranger 12, who are still with me. One thing I’ve found that helps with the pain is sharing my memories of Spirit and talking about her with others who care and understand, like this wonderful group. Even as I share my thoughts with you, I find myself once again becoming emotional. -

When we love our pets as much as we do, no matter how short or long the time we have with them, the pain of having them cross the Rainbow Bridge, is always intense I believe. Please know I hold you and all others who have lost dearly beloved pets in my thoughts and prayers and pray regularly that all humans and animals when they pass from this world to the next will always be surrounded by loved ones. - Load More
