• For those of you who recently lost a precious four legged baby,I am deeply sorry for your loss.I lost my best friend who was 15&1/2 who passed away 1 year ago on April 16th and I truly understand your heartache.

    • Thank you for sharing your sympathy and support, Dianne. Our community doesn’t work without, well, our community members. We recently opened our memorials area and I wonder if a memorial to Bessie would be a healing place for you to keep her memories, that you can visit and update, and know it’s always there for you. I’ll be writing more about the healing help memorials can provide, but one major benefit is to have a place just for Bessie so you can open your heart to more joys and loves. You are so kind to care for and about others who are hurting. That means so much. I’m happy to hear from you, Dianne.
        • I would love a memorial to my Bessie. She is always my best friend.
            • It’s nice, and I know how important a memorial is, Dianne. It can really help heal. Just click the “Memorials” tab at the top of this page. We have to charge a very nominal fee of $29./year to help offset our cost. You may share anything you want about Bessie, as many photos as you like, and keep adding as often as you want. Please let me know if you need any help. Hugs.
              • Hi Dianne. Do you need help with your memorial for Bessie? If so, let me know. I hope you are doing well.

If she sees her beloved Dale in her dreams, that is him letting her know he is okay and he loves and misses her.I am no medium or anything like that.I have been seeing spirits since the age of 15.But now I am starting to ser animal spirits.
When a pet visits they stay long enough to make sure their favorite person is okay and then they go back home.
              • Hi Dianne. I don’t want to open wounds, but yesterday was one year for your parting from Bessie and I am thinking of you. I know you are bust getting ready to move, and hopefully that is occupying your time and thoughts. Please, let us know how you are doing. Since you have Bessie’s remains, you might like to check out our Forever in Glass hand-blown pieces. They are a lovely way to keep her with you. With my warmest wishes, Toni.
              • I am in the the process of moving at the end of April. It will be one year on April 16th since my beloved, best friend Bessie went to the Bridge.I wish she was coming with me,but her ashes will be and I know she is going to be my traveling companion in spirit.

                • I am so glad you wrote this, Dianne, because Kathy is dreaming about her beloved Dale, and I think that may be another way their spirit stays with us. Perhaps you can share some of your comforting words with her.

                      Sorry for your loss.
                        • Thank you. As we all know, she was a member of the family.
                            • Oh my dog, Dan – what a face! The ears, the eyes, the attitude… Daisy owns my heart and I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing her. Of course you cried, and I suspect still do from time to time, but the happy memories of the joyful, loving times together support you, don’t they? Please let us know how you are. And Dan, if you want to lend your support to others in our caring community, please do. It really does mean a lot. I cry each time I read the loving tributes our members share. I think we all feel pain for one another. Toni

My Bessie, the Sheltie in my photos had a large tumor in her abdomen that I was unaware of.She is the love of my life and was 15.5 when she passed on April 16th.
                                            • Precious Bessie ♥️😘. My Sapphire would have been 10 in February. She was so tiny when I picked her from a litter of kittens I had to wait two weeks for her to come home with me. I got her as a companion when I was in the middle of a divorce and getting a apartment preparing for the new chapter of my life. How old was your Bessie when she came into your life? Sapphire loved cheetos cheese puffs, did your sweet Bessie have a favorite treat?

                                                • Oh thank you so much 😢 in November I discovered she was in advanced kidney failure. My sweet beautiful Sapphire was so sick and by the time I realized something was wrong 😣 the disease had done it’s horrific damage.

                                                      • Dianne, that is a spectacular story – you must have felt a very strong pull towards Bessie to drive so far. That is so lovely of you, and good for you both to find each other. It’s so darn hard when their lives end and we have to be without them around. But, do you find you are smiling when you think of your times together more than you cry now? It hasn’t been that long since you said goodbye, but I hope you know that your kindness and love, giving her a wonderful home and being her best friend, was everything. Please let us know how you are. I’d love to see more pictures if you like. Toni
                                                        • Dianne, I was able to read you lovely story about Bessie in my email, but don’t see it here in the community. Did you delete it? If I can help you post it, please let me know, but you are a loving, kind and wonderful pet lover, and we are so glad to have you in our community. Toni
                                                        • My Bessie will have been gone 9 months tomorrow.

                                                          • Dianne, special dates can be hard and I hope you can more smiles than tears tomorrow. Do you have a special memento of Bessie’s? Can you share some pictures and stories with us? Let us know how you do this weekend. Toni
