My life with Gizmo…-
What a wonderful, charming and touching story, Constance. Thank you very much for sharing with us, and please know you are very welcome to continue to do so. I had to chuckle at your creative sweater making, and sleeping in the fuzzy slipper.🤗. Is it typical for tiny dogs to be hypoglycemic, or that breed? That’s tough to manage and you did a great job caring for darling little Gizmo. I am so sorry for your loss, and hope you find more smiles than tears with your lovely, loving and fun memories. Please join us Thursday July 19th for our group meeting. I’d love to meet you. Toni

My lil tiny baby, Gizmo the Gremlin was my everything, my reason for living, my heart! I had NEVER had a tea-cup version of any dog before, and he was so small that he seemed to not be “real”. At 8 weeks he weighed 10 oz, and an entire meal was 7 pieces of puppy food! He was like having a stuffed animal toy that came to life! He was so fiesty & happy & loved to cuddle and be babied. He would climb into my fuzzy slipper to take his naps and several times we thought he was lost because he was so small that we literally couldn’t find him, so we got a kitty collar with bells to keep up with him! He finally got to his adult weight of a whoppibg 2.2 lbs & 6 inches tall! He went everywhere that I went, as he was my ESA, & he had hypoglycemia so I couldn’t leave him alone. Unfortunately, at age 10, he was sick with a upper respiratory infection and was not eating well. He had a bad seizure that he had when he was hypoglycemic and I was in the bathtub. When I got out he had passed away from his illness. Im beyond devestated still… -

Please, please…take steps to pTonirotect and comfort your pets this firework season. Keep them in a quiet room, speak soothingly to them, distract them with favorite toys and games. And if it’s hot, keep them cool and well watered. Toni

Romeo was terrified of fireworks and I had to sedate him. This is the first 4th of July without him. He doesn’t have to be afraid anymore. 😞 💔

Hi Maureen, I never had to sedate Lulu, but it is the first
4th of July without her. I sure do miss her quirky little ways. So how are you doing? I hope things are a little brighter on this July 5th. I’m thinking of you. Take care brony

Ines, I am so, so sorry for your loss of Hope 😞 My heart breaks for you and I know your pain. When we lose our fur baby it is so gut wrenching and numbing. Hope is still with you, she is always in your heart.
Hugs to you! 💔

Tana,so sorry for your loss 💔 It is so sad when we lose our fur baby, but, when we get them back in the form of ashes it hits us very hard again. It is another reminder that they are gone, but, now Zoey is finally back home with you where she belongs. Sending you hugs and wishing you peace. 💔

I hope you will try to write to us about Bandit. You may find that it will give you some comfort to be heard by people who know your pain, who have been there. Best wishes to you! Sigrid -

Oh Maureen it makes my heart hurt. I wish you lived nextdoor so I could run and give you a hug. I don’t believe in coincidences either. Everything happens for a reason. There is a reason you met me. I’m not sure what that is but I was blessed in meeting you. Keep your chin up and know I’m always thinking of you. May you get plenty of hugs. Pretend they are from me.. Brony (I see a kitty outside, in the morning it’s there and goes to bed at dark. Watching over me. That’s the only explanation I could find) - Load More
