As soon as I love something it’s taken away. The lady that had Lucy lied constantly to me. She fed her chicken thighs and noodles,her breath was terrible. . She didn’t have her shots or was spayed . In February she started to change, pee and poop on my bed, hide under the toilet. Never come when I called. Quit playing with her toys. And got fleas lived in the garage. She didn’t enjoy life. Got warmer and she hides under the bed. She would drink water like crazy and use the cat box. I think her kidneys were failing. I tried and tried to get her to eat but within days she cried and her head was in the water bowl. I moved her to a chair and petted her while she purred. She yawed her tongue was purple.she took two breaths and was gone. I rocked her and told her I loved her not believing she was gone. She is buried next to Lulu.

Maureen hi this is Brony. I lost LULU last June, I adopted LUCY and lost her this morning. Didn’t even have her a year. I must be a bad mommy. Or I believe a person to tell me the truth. It hurts so bad. -

I adopted Lucy a little under a year ago. She was to help me get through the lose of my 14 year LULU. And that she did. She stole my hotdog and watched KING KONG with me. She, was a different car but I told her that I loved her . I do believe the lady lied to me about her health. With in 3 days she was gone. I must not be a good mommy. I’m so sad.

Oh Toni you brought a tear to my eye…When I stumbled across this website l wanted to honor Lulu. With your words and compassion , my heart started to repair itself. I became able to find room for another, (Lucy) Thank you. I wish for you and yours a Verry Merry Christmas and Lulu would be honored…. -

I feel you Katrina, I lost Lulu in June 23. The first Christmas without Lulu, but the beginning with Lucy. I miss Lulu had her for 13 years, she became a habit. I hope to have Lucy for many years. She will become my habit. (Ruby was the name of my grandma. A great name.) -

and even though she had very little vision and kept my ill husband able to smile every day. She was
15 and I adopted her from a rescue group back in 2010. The pain we feel is indescribable no matter
how many days, months and years go by. Please feel free to message me any time.
Such a very sad story about Lucy. I’m so, so sorry that you lost her and I understand completely what you mean about whenever you love something, it’s taken away. I feel that way too, at times, because it does seem that way. I think Lucy had it rough before she came to you and that is probably why her little life was cut short. But, you gave her the best life while she was with you. Please dont beat yourself up. You didnt cause Lucy any harm or pain, she only knew love. I hope you find yourself another little baby to save and give a good life to because you are an excellent Momma.

We are sweltering here in SW Florida too and I can hardly go outside for any period of time so I understand what you’re going through where you are. I am grateful for AC and feel for all this people who don’t.

How are you doing? I hope things are a little softer in your heart and I want you to know that you are in my thoughts all the time. I feel you have been through more than some of us here, and I wish there was a magic wand to help erase the pain.
Please take care of yourself with this hot weather. Be careful not to stay outside too long, but if you have to be outside stay hydrated.

Happy Birthday, Brony!!! I am so happy you have Frankie. What a gorgeous little kitty and a wonderful birthday present. I know everything happens for a reason and exactly when we need it to. Frankie was sent to you from your other kitty babies for sure. They dont want you to be sad anymore. This little baby is going to give you so much joy and will fill your life with happiness.

Well, it has been a rough week for me as Romeo’s Birthday was on Monday the 15th.
He would have been 16 years old. I always thought he would make it because he was very active, and according to his Veterinarian, very healthy and ” should be around a while longer”. Of course, that wasn’t to be. This birthday was a little easier for me and I celebrated him all day. I had my Alexa announce Happy Birthday, Romeo every single hour and I had her sing the birthday song (I did too). And, of course, there were tears….lots and lots of tears.
So, it’s been 18 months since he left this world, and my heart is still sore. Life for me will never be the same, and life without him stinks. But, I know that nothing will bring him back and the world will keep turning no matter how I feel.
Anyway, I just wanted to mention Romeo’s birthday so I could say his name so he will be remembered.
