Got our fur baby back last night. I cried all the way home. They did an awesome job on her urn.
    • Tana, I am glad Zoey has a lovely resting place with you. Of course you cried. How could you not? You will always love Zoey, treasure your times together, and I hope, and think, you will find yourselves smiling with gratitude and joy over time. Thank you for sharing this with us. Please feel welcome to share your own sympathy and understanding with others here. Toni
      • I am so sorry. I hope having your fur baby home brings you comfort.
        • Tana,so sorry for your loss 💔 It is so sad when we lose our fur baby, but, when we get them back in the form of ashes it hits us very hard again. It is another reminder that they are gone, but, now Zoey is finally back home with you where she belongs. Sending you hugs and wishing you peace. 💔

I ordered this from a website, I thought it is a beautiful reminder that our Zoey is still very much loved!
          • Zoey will never leave your heart. Our hearts are full.

That is what we were thinking too, yes no more pain.

Wednesday, like any other day, Zoey was sitting on the arm of the couch, and my daughter heard a boom, she went into the living room and Zoey was getting up off the floor, but when she started walking she was wobbling. By the end of that night, Zoey could not walk at all, then she had problems eating, so my daughter laid her on her bed and got up every 2 hours to dropper feed her. Friday morning, I had to run my daughter to the clinic and when we got home, Zoey had went over the rainbow bridge.

                        • It sounds as if she had some strokes. Poor little thing. She’s at peace now and I hope you and your family find some comfort in that. {{HUGS}} Toni

                            • That’s what I remind myself about Walter, too, Tana. He isn’t at risk of his mass bursting and dying in extreme pain. There is a lot of comfort (in our heads) but in our hearts, it hurts. Please be happy for Zoey’s life and love, and that she’s out of harms way now. I’m thinking of you. (HUGS).
                              • So sorry for your loss of Zoey, Tana. I know how incredibly hard it must have been to come home and find your baby gone. Peace be with you. 💔
                                • Thank you Toni and Maureen
                                  • Tana, Thank You. Thank you for sharing so honestly and deeply. Our community is here for you, your husband, and please let your daughter know – we are here for her, too. Zoe was, and if you allow her to be, still is, a major source of support for each and all of you. She is not physically there but you know darn tight well she is still with, and within you all. They say “Be the person your pet thinks you are” and I often think of that. Zoe knew each of you as the heroes you are, and I hope you keep and honor her spirit knowing that. What a charming photo. Please send us more, and please share more with us. I am, we are, thinking of you. Toni
