Hi I haven’t posted in awhile but wanted to share an up date on my 4 boys that were adopted in memory of my 3 girls that passed between May of 2022 and January of 2023. Oliver, on my lap and Sebastian the orange one are my bonded 11 year old senior boys. They celebrated their 2nd gotcha anniversary on August 4. Sebastian is beginning to feel more comfortable and at home and enjoys spending time with his human when his brothers aren’t around. Oliver is my expensive” problem child, who’s being treated for IBS and is doing reasonably well and thankfully will eat the special diet food prescribed by the vet. He’s also down to a healthy 11-12 lbs, his weight fluctuates from his pudgy 17 lbs when I first got him. Takoda, my all black 3 year old is doing well, compared to his “ incorrigible” , 3 year year old brother Oreo, he is mellow and quiet but gave his human quite the scare in May of this year when he went missing for 4 days, just before his first gotcha day anniversary. Oreo, was my emergency rescue, whom, I adopted less than a month after Takoda. He’s the sweetest lovable boy when he wants to be but is also an incorrigible holy terror at times, driving his brothers crazy, especially poor Sebastian, who wants to know why his human welcomed him into the family. Oreo is a wild and crazy boy who has boundless energy and is often times seen zooming around the house at high rates of speed, “flying” over 18 gallon totes and leaping onto counters and high places. However despite all the challenges of having 4 cats, I can’t imagine life with out my boys, miss them when I’m unable to be with them and they’ve most certainly helped to fill the void in my life and the hole in my heart after I lost my Spirit, 14, Autumn Ranger, 12 and Saraya 16 1/2 all with in less than 8 months of each other. Hoping everyone is doing as well as they are able as they welcome new fur babies into their lives and mourn the passing of others. God’s loving, healing embrace be with you all. Prayers for all mourning the passing of a beloved pet and for the recovery of sick ones. -

The hardest thing I’ve ever had to do it say goodbye to my Dexter. He got CHF unexpectedly. I cried for days. 4 months later I got Dixie and she’s been my saving grace. Don’t be afraid to get another pet. You’re not replacing him, just expanding your love circle. God bless -

I seriously tried to join but never did Zoom before. It wanted me to jump through hoops and add all kinds of numbers and stuff. Sorry just didn’t know what to do. I’m very sorry that I’m old and don’t get this stuff. But I did try -

Dixie at 3 1/2 years. My saving grace-
Oh my dawg, Chuck!! I am not making this up – I was thinking of you and Dixie yesterday (remember when you painted her nails pink?). Wow, has she grown up🤗What a beauty. Still a lap dog, I see😎 I can’t believe it’s been 3 1/2 years. If you can, please hop on our group meeting with Dixie so we can say hi. It’s Thursday August 15th at 7PM EST and the link is under the “Events” tab on the right side of this page. If you can’t make it, please keep us updated with more pictures and stories about you and Dixie. I truly think of you both and look forward to seeing more of you.🤗🤗Toni

Yes, I had her to the dogtor. They did blood work, screening, X-rays, and one other test to the tune of $351 when I told them I had $250. Everything was normal. Sent me home with a bag of solution, a handful of huge needles to give her fluid subcutaneously and two meds. I couldn’t bring myself to use the fluid/ needles. With her being so traumatized and needles hurt, so no. I use a syringe to squirt water in her mouth. When she won’t eat I use puppy milk substitute. And treat her gently, keeping our routine the same, give her lots of love. It brought her around once maybe it’ll work again. I’m getting a consultation with a a respected trainer/communicator. See what happens. I’m trying everything I can to fix her.

Yes Grunt-Grunt will always be next to me. The other day I had it quiet because I was reading my Bible and I heard a snore, then another and another I looked down where she used to lay and saw her laying there sleeping on her pillow. It was just for a second or two and it faded away, but it was enough for me.

The first anniversary of losing my Pug Angel Grunt-Grunt was 12/30/23 and I had a very hard time with it. She quit eating on 12/25/22 and was gone five days later. It was made harder because Lexie Loo, the new dog achieved playing just because for the first time in almost a year. So part of my heart was jumping for joy for one dog and still breaking for another. The picture is of Angel Grunt-Grunt ‘s headstone.

I know how difficult it makes having to make the decision to say goodbye is made by uncaring service. Twice now we have been hurried a long in making the decision and how much time I was given to say goodbye. One dog was put down before I could even get there to say goodbye. You obviously loved Walker very much and that he lived his best life with you. And always remember that between hello and goodbye there was so much love. Much PugLove and many PugHugs Angel Grunt-Grunt and Momma -

I have worrysome news on my newest baby Lexie Loo. She\’s gone from Christmas Eve she ran, and played, and talked to us for an extended period of time just because for the first time ever to on 2/6&7 overnight she went back to being scared, won\’t go outside off leash, only eats when she feels like it, and I have to try a few things on her when she does eat. I put liquid in her food, but on days she doesn\’t eat I have to use a syringe to keep her hydrated. She\’s never alone, so we can\’t figure out what happened to trigger this. Any suggestions? -
