Hi I haven’t posted in awhile but wanted to share an up date on my 4 boys that were adopted in memory of my 3 girls that passed between May of 2022 and January of 2023. Oliver, on my lap and Sebastian the orange one are my bonded 11 year old senior boys. They celebrated their 2nd gotcha anniversary on August 4. Sebastian is beginning to feel more comfortable and at home and enjoys spending time with his human when his brothers aren’t around. Oliver is my expensive” problem child, who’s being treated for IBS and is doing reasonably well and thankfully will eat the special diet food prescribed by the vet. He’s also down to a healthy 11-12 lbs, his weight fluctuates from his pudgy 17 lbs when I first got him. Takoda, my all black 3 year old is doing well, compared to his “ incorrigible” , 3 year year old brother Oreo, he is mellow and quiet but gave his human quite the scare in May of this year when he went missing for 4 days, just before his first gotcha day anniversary. Oreo, was my emergency rescue, whom, I adopted less than a month after Takoda. He’s the sweetest lovable boy when he wants to be but is also an incorrigible holy terror at times, driving his brothers crazy, especially poor Sebastian, who wants to know why his human welcomed him into the family. Oreo is a wild and crazy boy who has boundless energy and is often times seen zooming around the house at high rates of speed, “flying” over 18 gallon totes and leaping onto counters and high places. However despite all the challenges of having 4 cats, I can’t imagine life with out my boys, miss them when I’m unable to be with them and they’ve most certainly helped to fill the void in my life and the hole in my heart after I lost my Spirit, 14, Autumn Ranger, 12 and Saraya 16 1/2 all with in less than 8 months of each other. Hoping everyone is doing as well as they are able as they welcome new fur babies into their lives and mourn the passing of others. God’s loving, healing embrace be with you all. Prayers for all mourning the passing of a beloved pet and for the recovery of sick ones.
    • Suzanne🤗🤗I am so happy to hear from you, and to have this wonderful update. That’s what we hope for in our community – to hear about your babies, those with us, and those to whom we have said goodby. You have quite the full house! I feel as if I know each of them now, just a bit, and they sound like great buddies for you and among themselves (well, most of the time)😎 How lovely and loving of you to open your home and heart again, especially to these boys who were in need. And it’s great that you kept bonded pairs together. I think Mac and Roni would die, literally, if they were separated. Maybe you will join our group call Thursday September 19th and try to corral the kids so we can meet them. That would be very nice, and we’d love to see you. Please keep sending updates, and pictures if you can because we love seeing the little darlings (monsters).😻You are always welcome to light another candle to each Spirit, Autumn Ranger and Saraya as a way of sending them a little “kiss”. Thank you for being such a wonderful, kind person. Sending lots of {{BIG HUGS}} to you all. Toni
      • Hi Suzanne, I’m glad to hear that your kitties are moving along nicely and doing well. You surely have a lot on your plate, but I know it gives you so much joy to have all of them with you. What a nice life you are giving them.
Thank you for the update and I wish you all the best.
