Oh Chuck, you’re making me smile so hard seeing this little face. She obviously is happy with you and is just pouring love out of her. You are kind and generous to open your home and heart again. We want to see more of Dixie, watch her grow and learn, and know how you both are doing. Thank you for being a part of our community. Here’s a HUG for Dixie ๐ -

What a cutie :-). Is this Snowball or Harley, or someone else? Thank you for being a generous person by adopting. We are editing our newest Paw’d Cast with Denver Dumb Friends League and when it’s released, I’ll let everyone know. Shelters and Rescues do so many great things. And Lethia, thank you so much for being a part of our community. We look forward to hearing more…-

Are Buddy, Coco and Khloe dogs, too? May we see them? So glad you shared Jackson with us. Keep us updated about your goings on….

Oh, yes, it’s an emptiness and aching, isn’t it? We know we can and will remember the many joys and tons of love shared, but they sort of get drowned out by the sadness. It’s hard, but good, that you are allowing yourself to feel really, really awful. If you try to avoid the pain, it will just linger inside you. We are here to listen and support you. I say “Joy shared is joy doubled; Grief shared is grief halved”. You are safe to pour your heart out with us. Here is a HUG for you. And Thank You for sharing your kindness and understanding with others. -

Jill, recently someone said to me “I don’t want to finish grieving yet”. I think that is brilliant – give ourselves permission to be in our grief as long as we want and need to be. You have to go straight through the depths of aching sadness to emerge from such a strong loss. There is no set timeline for our grieving processes, and even way out in the future sometimes a little thing will conjure tears. I think creating a memorial will help you. It can be a box of favorite toys, a collection of photos, or you can create a memorial tribute here in our “Memorials” tab. That gives you a place to go and just be in your memories and feelings. You can add to it any time and visit as often as you like. And Jill, if it was you who passed, wouldn’t you tell Gizmo to go live a happy life? I know she wishes that for you. We’re here to help you. What can we do for you?-
From what I think I know that there is nothing anyone can do for me or anyone else who is grieving we just have to go through it. Let time ease the pain won’t heal it but may or may not ease the pain. What I want is what I can not have again till the end of time is Gizmo back. I REALLY do appreciate you and the others checking in on me. Please don’t give up on me. Thank you Thank you.

We’re here for you, Jill.

Susan, I am sorry Comet is physically gone, but know he lives in your heart and memories. Many states are legislating puppy mills and you might want to contact your representatives to become active in those efforts. let us know what you find out, and please let us know how you are doing. Do you have other pets now? -

My 3 year female orange cat went through hoarders and the couple were arrested as many cats were found deceased . Snoozy is a survivor and I love this beautiful orange eyed cat.

I got her when she was a kitten

1. Your cats have the best names.
2. Do you think it was a kindness to Sea Salt that he didn’t have to suffer the ailments the vet identified? Of course it is shocking for you, and traumatic, but it sounds as if he didn’t linger and suffer.
I am truly sorry and sad for your parting. Castiel will bring you joy and love, not to replace Sea Salt, but to add to making new memories. We look forward to photos and stories. Please let us know how you are doing. Hugs-
Hi. Thanks for responding. Yes, maybe it was for the best that Sea Salt died at home with me comforting him. Sure did hurt to lose him, though, and it has been very rough on my younger daughter, who misses him terribly. Castiel has been a blessing to us, and especially to my husband, who is actually more of a dog person. I am attempting to download my pictures from our thumb drive, so hopefully I will have pictures soon!

That’s what we love to see, Tay! What a magnificent job you all are doing for little Ryuu. I must give a lot of credit to the other cat (who is that?) taking care of him, plus taking a pretty good swipe from him:-). Please share what you learn from the vet so we can all benefit. I can’t thank you enough for sharing this with us. We’re all excited to follow his progress. Toni -
