Carla, Wow – what a story! Thank you for sharing this with us. May I ask what happened that Slingo died so suddenly? It may help others to hear about that, too. I love the way you named Slingo🙌I once named a cat “Chivo” after a sour cream-chive spread. We had baked potatoes the night before she literally walked into my house and adopted me, so of course I had to name her Chivo! I am truly sorry for your loss, and delighted for the ten years of love and joy you shared. I hope you celelbrate those special times, and am glad to hear from you. Denesha, the first ANYTHING is very hard – holiday, birthday, any of the milestones that mark our times together. If you can, when you think of Ellie, think also of a lovely, loving time with her. It can help to recall the many reasons you opened your home and heart to her. How is Archie doing? Better, I hope. Elizabeth, on the 15th, we will be thinking of you and Angel.💔 And you could give Evangelina an extra vanilla wafer from Angel, do you think? And Gabriel, too. By the way, has Evangelina learned some services to help you? I am delighted to hear from you, although not for this reason, but it is good to have your update, and we hope to hear more. Oh Linda, how sad. I am so sorry. I brought 3 five week old kittens home to foster and two of them were euthanized due to Panleukopenia. It is heartbreaking💔at any age, but especially when they are so very little. How old was your baby? Will you share her story with us? It might help others. We’re thinking of you with sympathy. Toni -

Dianne, why do you feel guilty? Talk to us about that. Oscar is certainly feeling the loss of Irish and you can help him by crying with him, petting him, visiting Irish’s “spots” and speaking softly about your times together. You are welcome to speak with me if you like. Let me know.Toni -

Oh no, Dianne. How horrid. I am so sorry.💔 How would someone poison him? Did you have company? The lethargy and staggering are symptoms of the Panleukopenia that killed Mac’s brother and sister. It is extremely virulent and is on the ground so can be tracked into a house.. Can you have Irish tested for that? If he had that, Oscar is going to need treatemnt (antibiotics and fluids). This is shocking and tragic and heartbreaking and I am in tears for you all.😪 Please let us know if you have Irish tested and what happens. Toni -

What a sweet story – the love your family shared with Ein lasted a long time and it is so nice that everyone was with Ein as you granted him a peaceful, comfortable passing. That’s really the final gift of love and care we can give isn’t it? It hurts to say goodbye and I hope you can find some comfort in recalling the many joys and love you shared. Louie was a 12 year old toy poodle. So sweet, smart and very funny.He thought that he was my baby which he was and he was my shadow
I’m heartbroken 💔 😢 without my Louie.

So sorry for your loss of Louie 💔 I know you are heartbroken and my heart hurts for you. My boy, Romeo, was a toy poodle too (well, he was a HavaPoo mix) and very smart and funny as well and I miss him terribly.
I wish you peace at this very sad time and Im sending you warm, comforting hugs 💔

That damn Covid, and it’s still, probably always will be, with us. I am so sorry. How nice that you had the joy of caring for Stan’s little darling. I’m sure they both appreciated your friendship and kindness. -

Ein was a sweet Cori who was originally my sons dog. They named him after the corgi in Cowboy Bebop. When they left home, he stayed with us. Ein loved squeaky toys, playing fetch was his favorite game. He and his rescue brother would go camping with us. He wad 14 1/2 years old when we lost him, the whole family was with him when we had to let him go.

Tracey, I am sorry for your loss 💔 It sounds like Ein had a wonderful life with you filled with love and much happiness. A life he and his brother would not have if they hadn’t been rescued by you.
