This will be my first Christmas without Ellie. I am still very sad I had to say goodbye to my sweet girl. I gave her the name Ellie because the way she looked. I still wanna buy her a Christmas present not sure if that is silly but she deserves it even if she is gone. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her and I have her little memorial set up in the bedroom so I talk to her and cry sometimes. It’s only been 10 months and I still can’t believe she is gone. I’m also sad we didn’t get to celebrate her birthday since that’s the day she crossed the rainbow bridge
    • Denesha, the first ANYTHING is very hard – holiday, birthday, any of the milestones that mark our times together. If you can, when you think of Ellie, think also of a lovely, loving time with her. It can help to recall the many reasons you opened your home and heart to her. How is Archie doing? Better, I hope. I hope you’ll join our group meeting this month, to talk about Ellie, and Archie, with our kind, caring group. We’re here for you, Denesha ❤️Toni
      • How do I join the group meeting? I would love to join
        • Also Archie is better but I know he still misses her.
          • And we would love to have you. Go to “Events” on the right side of this page and click on the December link. It’s on Zoom. If you don’t have Zoom, it’s easy to sign up for.

Here’s the link to our meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88448684358?pwd=cTdMcFBNZG9zV0ZrRm1wNjhFUnFvUT09

            • Archie, like you, is still missing Ellie, and is probably picking up some of your vibes. Give Archie extra lovings, and please give yourself some extra kindness, too.
              • What time and day does it happen? I live in Calcium New York
                • Our group meetings begin at 7PM Eastern time, 4 Pacific, the third Thursday of each month. This month we will meet December 21st. You are welcome to join in any time, and leave when you want, but it’s good to come at the beginning to ‘meet’ everyone. You will find kind, caring, understanding friends who welcome and support you.
