Hi everyone.Well,today is not a good day.Someone poisoned my cat,Irish.He is an inside outside boy.I hear him crying about 3 am,and found him.He was lethargic,he wasn\’t able to recognize me and when he walked,he was staggering.
I had put him in a towel,and he laid next to me.I got dressed and walked down to my family\’s house,and when I came back,he was cold and unresponsive.I had him for three and a half years.My heart is shattered.My other cat,Oscar is looking for him.-
Oh no, Dianne. How horrid. I am so sorry.💔 How would someone poison him? Did you have company? The lethargy and staggering are symptoms of the Panleukopenia that killed Mac’s brother and sister. It is extremely virulent and is on the ground so can be tracked into a house.. Can you have Irish tested for that? If he had that, Oscar is going to need treatemnt (antibiotics and fluids). This is shocking and tragic and heartbreaking and I am in tears for you all.😪 Please let us know if you have Irish tested and what happens. Toni
