Celebrate 2 years, 9 months agoAlthough I have suffered a great loss of my Jazzy, I am grateful to still have my beautiful Bailey…-
He’s beautiful! Also iam very sorry for your loss 💟🐾🕊️
-
Brandi, I’m so sorry for your loss of Jazzy 💔 I know how heartbroken you are. Your Bailey is a gorgeous boy and I’m glad you have one another to hold onto at this very sad time.
Sending warm, comforting hugs to you. Peace be with you. 💔 💔 -
Thank you so much! It is still so hard. Every day is a struggle, but I am thankful for my sweet Bailey. ❤️
-
Being grateful is so important. It reminds us of the many fun, funny and loving times we shared, and why we opened our hearts in the first place. Saying goodbye is so very hard, but recalling the good reasons for loving Bailey can help soften some of the pain. Will you be joining us tonight, Brandi? It may be good for you to talk with our kind, understanding group. Toni

Celebrate 3 years, 11 months agoThese babies are my children. It is a joy and gift to have them in my life. They keep me going and put a daily smile on my face. Each one has such a character all their own. So sweet and sensitive, especially my husky Brinley.
-
OH MY DAWG … What fabulous pups, Melinda. I can see so much personality in their eyes. It’s so good of you to share your home and heart, so good for YOU to have them in your life. This is just wonderful, and thank you for sharing their stories and photos. We always like more :-). Don’t tell anyone, but we’ll be asking for cute costumes in October … just sayin’…Toni

Celebrate 3 years, 11 months agoMira and Addie are two of Ava’s (whom I lost a year ago in April. She is the all black one in the picture) daughters. They will be 9 in October. Otto is the father. He is my first shepherd. He will be 12 in November. Brinley is another rescue, just like Ava. He will be approximately 7 in September. I don’t really have any info on him. His Gotcha Day is his birthday. September 19th. -

Celebrate 4 years, 6 months agoWe have Renzo just over 6 months now. All they could tell us about him was his approx age of 1 1/2-2yrs old (best guess-timate) & that he came from Tennessee. We\’re not sure if he ever experienced winter/snow before, but here he is enjoying it to the fullest!-
So cute! My big puppy just had her first real snow days and she couldn’t get enough eating all the snow. She even started rolling in it 🤗.
-
Beautiful boy. Looks like he is waiting for you to throw the stick. 😊
-
Yes indeed, Renzo is waiting for me to throw the stick! Playing fetch is his favorite play time activity whether it’s a stick or a ball. He will literally fetch & retrieve all day long until you feel like your arm is falling out of its socket! He has nearly infinite energy!
-
Umm hmmm…. He is your personal trainer š I have fallen in love with him from these pictures, Randy. He is smart, sweet and energetic. I just feel something from him, as I am sure you do. What a joy. Please send more pictures, videos and updates. (I want to pet his ears)….give him some pets from me please….
-
What a beautiful boy he is. He has such an intense look on his face. I bet he’s a joy to play with. I miss having a big dog around. They’re so much fun. Give him schritches for me.

Celebrate 4 years, 12 months agoAfter I lost my 15&1/2 year old dog, I was devastated and depressed. Amazing how friends come through for you. I was given my new fur baby, a maltipoo I renamed Harlee. She has been a godsend! Although I will never forget Ripley, I see so much of him in Harlee which not only makes me laugh, but makes me all the more happy thinking he’s part of her. It may be hard to replace a beloved pet, there are so many pups waiting to find their forever home. Don’t wait, just do it!!
-
Oh wow, Vivian – how touching and kind and lovely of you – and yes, you are right – we cannot “replace” a pet,, nor would we want to – but to open our hearts and homes to others with whom we can share love and kindness is so very uplifting ( for both), and healing, I am so happy you shared this and wonder if you will share some pictures of Ripley and Harlee with us? If not, that’s purrrrfectly okay …. we just like to know our furry friends better. You are one kind, caring person, and we are so glad to have you in our caring community. I look forward to hearing more š

Susan, do I count eighteen furry friends here? Wow – how wonderful of you and for them! So many different kinds…I’m a sucker for pets in sunglasses :-). Tell us more, please, and keep lovin’ and huggin’ those babies!
-
LOL No, I can’t afford that many. That girl in the sunglasses was my neighbors’ dog, as well as the brown bully, but we loved them as our own. A man shot the brown bully and someone stole the baby in the sunglasses. The Chorkie and the white bully are my granddoggies. The big yellow terrier recently passed away due to cancer. The black and white kitty befriended us when he was a very young boy that had been shot. $232 later, we had an indoor kitty. He also recently passed from seizures. The gray kitty was also a homeless baby that wanted to be loved. She now rules the house. The two black dogs are my constant companions. I adore all animals.
-
You are the BEST, Susan, to love and care for so many, and all, animals. My first dog, Moses, when I was six years old, was shot by a stupid neighbor and poor Moses died. What is wrong with people?!! Some of our other community members have had animals shot or stolen and it just saddens me, and stuns me. Animals are waaaay better than many people. I just read a book you might like ” The Travelling Cat Chronicles” by Hiro Arikawa. Let me know if you read it. And please, send pictures of your gray kitty “The Queen” of the house and your others, neighbors’ included :-). I am so glad to have you here. Toni
