Hello Faithful Friends,I just wanted to reach out and hello and to recent people that have endured loss of their fur baby, thinking of you all and sending my prayers your way, Easter was a really hard day for us,our Ruby fell down and wasn’t getting enough oxygen to her brain so awful 😥,We had to lay her to rest last April 12th,one of the hardest things we have ever had to do,we are still feeling guilty, like we could of done more but I know she’s not suffering anymore so I’m trying to make peace with that, I can’t believe it’s going to be a year! It feels like yesterday. Well thanks for listening,it helps to talk about it,May God Bless you all💜💛🙏💐🐾 Katrina

What a kind message, Katrina. Thank you for sharing your understanding and support with and for others who have suffered the pain of saying goodbye to a beloved pet.💔There IS a mix of relief for our babies being released from their suffering, along with a deep grief and sadness for not having them with us in our homes. But, they are always inside our hearts. The anniversary of parting is hard, and falling on a holiday somehow makes the memory stronger, but I hope you can also bring forth memories of the wonderful times you and Ruby shared.Let us know how you are doing, and join us to talk about Ruby in April 18th if you like. I know exactly how you feel,it will be a year in April for my Ruby and I look in my empty yard every day and cry, it’s so hard,I hope she has everything she needs now and I wish I could have saved her,she had cancer 💔 anyways God Bless 💟🐾🙏💐 -

I know exactly how you feel, about the last moments,I feel like I let my baby down and she fought,it actually was probably the worst experience I encountered, watching life come out of her, still cry every day.just wanted you to know your not alone and praying for us all as this is so hard without our fur babies.🐾🕊️💟 -

Hope everyone had a nice holiday,iam looking forward towards 2024 as I encountered such great loss this year, my mom in law in January and my beautiful girl Ruby in April 😥🙏🐾so iam wishing you all a very Happy New Year 🕛 and God bless 💟

This is my 1st Christmas without my Ruby,how my heart hurts 💔,I know she’s not in pain anymore but I sure wish heaven had visiting hours. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas 🎄🎀 and a Happy New Year!

I feel you Katrina, I lost Lulu in June 23. The first Christmas without Lulu, but the beginning with Lucy. I miss Lulu had her for 13 years, she became a habit. I hope to have Lucy for many years. She will become my habit. (Ruby was the name of my grandma. A great name.)

I understand how you are feeling, Katrina. I am so sorry for your loss of Ruby. I lost my Romeo in January right after the holidays and this whole year has been filled with all the ‘firsts’ without him. Now Christmas is here and he is not. It’s so sad. I wish there was visiting hours too. Sending you hugs. -
This will be my first Christmas without June. She was 20 when I lost her on June 9. Miss her everyday. Watching her chase the paper we threw at her was so much fun until she curled up and went to sleep with a smile on her face. Sending hugs and all the best in 2024… -
Katrina, you have said it so well – Ruby is not in pain now, but it hurts, especially this first year without her. For every pang of loss, I hope you van think of a happy time with Ruby, and that you find some comfort there. Toni
