This will be my first Christmas without Ellie. I am still very sad I had to say goodbye to my sweet girl. I gave her the name Ellie because the way she looked. I still wanna buy her a Christmas present not sure if that is silly but she deserves it even if she is gone. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her and I have her little memorial set up in the bedroom so I talk to her and cry sometimes. It’s only been 10 months and I still can’t believe she is gone. I’m also sad we didn’t get to celebrate her birthday since that’s the day she crossed the rainbow bridge
    • Denesha, the first ANYTHING is very hard – holiday, birthday, any of the milestones that mark our times together. If you can, when you think of Ellie, think also of a lovely, loving time with her. It can help to recall the many reasons you opened your home and heart to her. How is Archie doing? Better, I hope. I hope you’ll join our group meeting this month, to talk about Ellie, and Archie, with our kind, caring group. We’re here for you, Denesha ❤️Toni
      • How do I join the group meeting? I would love to join
        • Also Archie is better but I know he still misses her.
          • And we would love to have you. Go to “Events” on the right side of this page and click on the December link. It’s on Zoom. If you don’t have Zoom, it’s easy to sign up for.

Here’s the link to our meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88448684358?pwd=cTdMcFBNZG9zV0ZrRm1wNjhFUnFvUT09

            • Archie, like you, is still missing Ellie, and is probably picking up some of your vibes. Give Archie extra lovings, and please give yourself some extra kindness, too.
              • What time and day does it happen? I live in Calcium New York
                • Our group meetings begin at 7PM Eastern time, 4 Pacific, the third Thursday of each month. This month we will meet December 21st. You are welcome to join in any time, and leave when you want, but it’s good to come at the beginning to ‘meet’ everyone. You will find kind, caring, understanding friends who welcome and support you. Toni

I am so sorry, Linda. We had to euthanize a 6 month old. She had a bad heart. I’m here for you, if needed.

All my kitties have human names, & middle names too. It started in 2002, with the last cat that my late hubby & I adopted together.

                  • ON the 15th of this month it will be three years since you came and helped my Angel cross over. She is always in my thoughts and my heart. My soul girl.

                    • Elizabeth, on the 15th, we will be thinking of you and Angel.💔 And you could give Evangelina an extra vanilla wafer from Angel, do you think? And Gabriel, too. By the way, has Evangelina learned some services to help you? I am delighted to hear from you, although not for this reason, but it is good to have your update, and we hope to hear more. Join our group meeting Dec. 21st at 7PM Eastern if you like – we would love to meet you and hear more. {HUGS} Toni
                      • Thank you Toni, I will try to, if I am not having to work. Is it EST? Hugs back.

Oh Linda, how sad. I am so sorry. I brought 3 five week old kittens home to foster and two of them were euthanized due to Panleukopenia. It is heartbreaking💔at any age, but especially when they are so very little. How old was your baby? Will you share her story with us? It might help others. We’re thinking of you with sympathy. Toni

He was a crazy, silly , loving cat and I miss him so much , it's been 10 months and the pain is still unbearable , I could go on and on about how special he was , but we all feel that when we lose our babies <3

Dianne, why do you feel guilty? Talk to us about that. Oscar is certainly feeling the loss of Irish and you can help him by crying with him, petting him, visiting Irish’s “spots” and speaking softly about your times together. You are welcome to speak with me if you like. Let me know.Toni

I understand now. Yes he will look for awhile. The safest thing for him is to keep him inside. Cause he will go looking for Irish. My heart goes out to Irish.,,and my heart goes out to You and Oscar..Love One Another……

Keep Oscar close to you, make him comfortable. He will be missing his friend.
