Hi Suzanne, I’m glad to hear that your kitties are moving along nicely and doing well. You surely have a lot on your plate, but I know it gives you so much joy to have all of them with you. What a nice life you are giving them.
Thank you for the update and I wish you all the best. -

Dianne, I am so very sorry for your loss of Oscar 💔 It sounds like he had a long amazing life with you especially after you found him on your porch. He left this world snuggled in love.
Sending you comforting hugs and wishing you peace at this very sad time. 💔 -

Anyways,my daughter had been caring for Oscar and he had been showing signs he was ready to go.When my daughter to him to the vet, they gave him his sedative, but my daughter was holding Oscar in her arms,as his face was in her cheek, the vet didn\’t give him half of the second injection,as he purred, and he was gone. The vet told my daughter that Oscar was the oldest cat she had ever seen.
When we moved to where I was living,in the three and a half years, his memory was fading. It was to where Oscar couldn\’t remember me,but I was just the nice lady who fed him, gave him water and scooped his litter box.He was forgetting to eat.He used to weigh about 15 pounds, but he was light as a feather. He was supposed to move up to Western New York with my family, but he couldn\’t have made a three day, 17 hour road trip.So I did some math in my head, and when I found him almost frozen to death on my porch back in 2007,he was an adult cat, maybe 7 years old.He wasn\’t a spring chicken.I am guessing he was way over 24 years old.
My heart is really breaking because he took a huge piece of my heart with him.He was my best friend, and my constant companion. There will never be another cat like Oscar.I get his ashes back on Friday. -

Suzanne🤗🤗I am so happy to hear from you, and to have this wonderful update. That’s what we hope for in our community – to hear about your babies, those with us, and those to whom we have said goodby. You have quite the full house! I feel as if I know each of them now, just a bit, and they sound like great buddies for you and among themselves (well, most of the time)😎 How lovely and loving of you to open your home and heart again, especially to these boys who were in need. And it’s great that you kept bonded pairs together. I think Mac and Roni would die, literally, if they were separated. Maybe you will join our group call Thursday September 19th and try to corral the kids so we can meet them. That would be very nice, and we’d love to see you. Please keep sending updates, and pictures if you can because we love seeing the little darlings (monsters).😻You are always welcome to light another candle to each Spirit, Autumn Ranger and Saraya as a way of sending them a little “kiss”. Thank you for being such a wonderful, kind person. Sending lots of {{BIG HUGS}} to you all. Toni -

Hi I haven’t posted in awhile but wanted to share an up date on my 4 boys that were adopted in memory of my 3 girls that passed between May of 2022 and January of 2023. Oliver, on my lap and Sebastian the orange one are my bonded 11 year old senior boys. They celebrated their 2nd gotcha anniversary on August 4. Sebastian is beginning to feel more comfortable and at home and enjoys spending time with his human when his brothers aren’t around. Oliver is my expensive” problem child, who’s being treated for IBS and is doing reasonably well and thankfully will eat the special diet food prescribed by the vet. He’s also down to a healthy 11-12 lbs, his weight fluctuates from his pudgy 17 lbs when I first got him. Takoda, my all black 3 year old is doing well, compared to his “ incorrigible” , 3 year year old brother Oreo, he is mellow and quiet but gave his human quite the scare in May of this year when he went missing for 4 days, just before his first gotcha day anniversary. Oreo, was my emergency rescue, whom, I adopted less than a month after Takoda. He’s the sweetest lovable boy when he wants to be but is also an incorrigible holy terror at times, driving his brothers crazy, especially poor Sebastian, who wants to know why his human welcomed him into the family. Oreo is a wild and crazy boy who has boundless energy and is often times seen zooming around the house at high rates of speed, “flying” over 18 gallon totes and leaping onto counters and high places. However despite all the challenges of having 4 cats, I can’t imagine life with out my boys, miss them when I’m unable to be with them and they’ve most certainly helped to fill the void in my life and the hole in my heart after I lost my Spirit, 14, Autumn Ranger, 12 and Saraya 16 1/2 all with in less than 8 months of each other. Hoping everyone is doing as well as they are able as they welcome new fur babies into their lives and mourn the passing of others. God’s loving, healing embrace be with you all. Prayers for all mourning the passing of a beloved pet and for the recovery of sick ones.-

Brony, what a stunner Frankie is! How lucky (for both of you) that he found you, and your kindness and care🤗I’ve marked September 20th on my calendar and look forward to your update about how he’s doing. Yes, keeping and caring for pets can be costly, but the value we receive is priceless❤️Thank you for the update and the ones to come. Give Frankie a {{BIG HUG}} from me. Toni -

This is an update on Frankie. His surgery went well. I wasn’t. He went to the vet at 8am and was discharged at 4pm. A long time. But he’s home a little out of it, he doesn’t like being locked up with the door closed, but it’s for his own good. I will be sleeping on the floor tonight. Just to make sure, hope I can move after that. Well that’s about all I can report now. Take care
-
Hi Brony, I’m glad Frankie’s surgery went well and that he’s recovering nicely. ❤️
-
Brony, how is Frankie today? I slept on the floor with Mac for two weeks and it was kind of fun – like camping, but inside. Please kepe us up to date about how you are both doing. 🤗Toni

Hi Toni, well the kitty that was thrown from a car and my friend brought him to me had a vet appointment in August, he is 5 months old, he for shots, which slowed him down for a day. He runs like a rocket thru the house ever since. He’s feeling fine until Sept 20th when he goes in to (shhhhh) get neutered. After that I am going to learn what’s it like to have a Siamese. I have learned already how intelligent he is also how stubborn. I wish you the best and I will keep you updated on Frankie and how he’s runs me ragged not to mention how costly it is to have a kitten -

The hardest thing I’ve ever had to do it say goodbye to my Dexter. He got CHF unexpectedly. I cried for days. 4 months later I got Dixie and she’s been my saving grace. Don’t be afraid to get another pet. You’re not replacing him, just expanding your love circle. God bless -
