      This is Sweetness.. I miss her and I loves her so much
      • Wow Karen, what a distinct beauty. I certainly see the Tortie. My Squirt was a long-haired Tortie and was with me 19 yeaars. Just my best friend. May I ask what was wrong with Sweetness? We like to share so others can benefit from our knowledge. I feel so bad for your loss, Karen, and am so very sorry.
        • She had cyst on both ovaries.. she had anxiety separation, and she had some pee accidents.. which we thought was UTI but November 1st 2022 took her to the vet and stayed 6 hours and 3 hours after we got home she passed away..found out from my new when I took my other cat in..and I asked the vet if it was possible that Sweetness died of bladder cancer .. and sure enough I was right.. my other cat is healthy.. but I Miss Sweetness..she was the runt of the litter.

          Handsome. Regal. The name is fitting. I am so sorry, Allison. Please tell us about Bishop and your lives together. It seems his cancer was fast moving and I hope he didn’t suffer much. Please share that with us, and come to our group meeting of understanding and supportive pet parents June 15th. Here is a {HUG} for you. Toni

            Oh Karen, grief moves at it’s own pace and losing such a big part of your life and heart takes time to remember the good times. I hope you can recall those loving days and years together, and find smiles before your tears soon. How did you and Sweetness meet? May we see some photos of her? You are very welcome to join our group support meeting Thursday, June 15th, We’d love to hear more. Details and log-in are under “Events”. We’re here for you, Karen. Toni

              Stephanie, What happened to Lenox that was so sudden? You may see Colleen’s post about the tragic event with her beloved Boomer. It’s terrible to say goodbye under any circumstance, but when something suddenly happens it is truly horrific and the pain of loss is magnified by the trauma. Please tell us what happened and what you are doing to cope. I am so very sorry, Stephanie. Toni

                Karen, some years ago I said goodbye to my Squirt who was 19 and we spent all those years together sharing EVERYTHING. It was terribly hard but tremendously rewarding to have had her be a big part of my life. How fortunate for you and Spooky to have shared a long life of love. I am so sorry for your loss because I understand the mix of emotions – happily heartbroken, if you know what I mean. Please sow us some pictures. I hope you join us Thursday June 15th – I’d love to meet you. Sending you a {Big Hug}

                  How touching it must have been for you, Sally – to have Callie come to you, to bring you joy, love and comfort. Callie had a loving, long life with you, and we can never have them long enough, but don’t you feel your life was enriched by having Callie with you? Now the hard part – the emptiness of your home, and missing her. I encourage you to come to our group Thursday the 15th – I think you will find great support and understanding, and you can share with us. Toni

                        We were on our evening walk with our boys May 3. Another dog broke off it\’s \”restraint\” and attacked my Boomer. He was only 12 and had just been given an easy 3 to 5 years of healthy life. His injuries were too much to ivercome and we had to say goodbye. In 4 hours ti e he went from healthy and happy to gone and my heart will never heal from the final images I am left with. He was my registered ESA and I am utterly lost without him. He taught me how to live but did not teach me how to live without him.
                        • Colleen, no one should experience this and I am devasted you and Boomer did. You have suffered a tremendous loss and shock. It sounds as if you have someone with you to support you. That’s good, but you might find it helpful to speak with a trauma specialist. Should you choose to do that, please let me know if I can assist you. This is such a sad thing to read and I can’t imagine the pain you are experiencing. Please come to our online group meeting June 15th. You don’t have to speak, but if you want to share with us, we are here for you, as we are here for you in our caring community. You will be in my thoughts with deep sympathy, and best wishes for healing. 💔Very sincerely, Toni
                          • You are among caring friends who understand the depth of your loss. We are here for you during this difficult time. With heartfelt support, Tay
                            • Colleen, I am so sad to read this! Boomer looks like a gentle soul. That is just the worst way to have to say goodbye. I agree with Toni: if it is at all possible for you to see a trauma person please do so. You have seen images that can’t be just forgotten, you need competent help to be able to go on. Boomer was there for your emotional support, and in a way he still is and will always be. Imagine what he would tell you. Yes, he would want you to grieve – and eventually be well again. That was his job. He still watches out for you. Please get help and stay connected to people who understand, like the beautiful people in this community. I am sending many good wishes!
