You aren’t alone. I lots my cat Sweetness 8 months ago, and I know it’s hard to lose a pet. I’m never going to get over Sweetness. It takes time .. there’s good days and bad days.. and it’s never easy. But things will eventually get better for you. Romeo will always be in heart . -

She does look for Sweetness.. it took her 5 months to get back to her self again. She’s a happy healthy cat. She sleeps with me, and she’s very vocal . She does play with her nephew to a certain extent. I will post a pick of Fluffy. He has part coon in him. He had a hard time with Sweetness passed away and Smokey too.. Smokey was my boyfriends cat. He passed away 2 weeks after Sweetness passed away. ..
I feel like Sweetness is still around.. Tabby looks at the ceiling like she can see Sweetness spirit and Smokey too. -

My cat Tabby ..she is going to be 3 in July.. she is always there for me and she also played with Sweetness. They were close. She an energetic cat. -

SWEETNESS-
Karen, I applaud your attention to the signals Sweetness was giving you. They can’t say in words so they communicate with us through actions. It’s imperative that we get prompt medical attention when we see behavioral or health changes. We never want anything to be wrong, but when it is, we can try to cure them, provide comfort, or help them find a comfortable passing. How fortunate you both were to enjoy such a long life of love. Your other kitty may be mourning Sweetness, too, and you can support each other throgh this sad time. Please keep us posted, tell us about your other kitty, join our group the 15th, and know we are thinking of you with sympathy. Toni

She had cyst on both ovaries.. she had anxiety separation, and she had some pee accidents.. which we thought was UTI but November 1st 2022 took her to the vet and stayed 6 hours and 3 hours after we got home she passed away..found out from my new when I took my other cat in..and I asked the vet if it was possible that Sweetness died of bladder cancer .. and sure enough I was right.. my other cat is healthy.. but I Miss Sweetness..she was the runt of the litter.

Wow Karen, what a distinct beauty. I certainly see the Tortie. My Squirt was a long-haired Tortie and was with me 19 yeaars. Just my best friend. May I ask what was wrong with Sweetness? We like to share so others can benefit from our knowledge. I feel so bad for your loss, Karen, and am so very sorry.

I had Sweetness since she was 2months old.. and she was always by my side.. she started having health issues at 3 years old .. she was part Burmese and she had Tortie too. Her mom was Burmese. -

I lost my cat Sweetness November 1st 2022 due to bladder cancer..it’s been 7 months since she passed away..I’m having a hard time.

Oh Karen, grief moves at it’s own pace and losing such a big part of your life and heart takes time to remember the good times.
