Hi everyone. Sorry I haven’t posted in so long. Life is a whirlwind ride sometimes & doesn’t always slow down. It’s coming up on 2 yrs since we lost our 2 German Shepherds in an 8 day span. Also nearly 2 yrs since we adopted another male G.S.D. named Renzo. Truly, time waits for no one. Blink & it’s gone. All is well w/Renzo but I still find myself lost & disheartened when I recall that fateful time in July 2021 when we lost our 2 boys. I smile & remember good, fun times when looking @ their pics while also feeling an empty sadness due to their sudden loss. Renzo has been wonderful as a dog & companion though, so we are thankful for that. We’ve actually considered adopting another G.S.D. (hopefully a white one) since we are so enamored w/the breed. We’ll have to see what the future brings. Any how, hope all the pet lovers & members here are enjoying good times w/your fury friends. Take care all & have a great summer.

Randy, It is good to hear from you no matter what amount of time passes. I think of you and Remzo and hope you’ll send some more pictures of him. We’d love to see him now. You say it perfectly – the empty sadness. It’s not the acute pain of parting, but a lingering ache that comes when we think of their end of life. It sounds as if you are also able to recall the happy and fun times with Ranger and Axel, and that’s a good way to honor them. You and/or your wife are always welcome to join our monthly group meeting the third Thursday of each month. The links are under “Events”. Yep, gotcha Lori. My Beauty Girl (aka Deanna) sadi goodbye Feb, 2022 – 16 months ago – and tonight I felt again her absence. Walter is gone two weeks now and I am still happy he had a comfortable passing, but we do, and should, and will, always miss them. I find great joy in knowing I gave them their best lives full of love , and I hope you do, too. Toni -

Thank you . I am having a very difficult time . I know that the pain will ease in Time but missing will never go away . I look for her and my Benny (dog ) every day. Always wishing for a little longer with them -

Lori, I’m sorry for your loss of Hildie 💔 We all know the pain you are feeling and I want you to know that we are here for you at this very sad time. 😔 I still cry every single day over my Romeo and it will be 6 months next week. Please take care of yourself. Sending hugs and peace to you! 💔

And I’m sending hugs right back. I’m glad today is over, it’s been a rough one for me too. When I sat at the table and looked out the window by the bush was a black and white cat. Well I thought there was a cat it was just lights playing tricks on my brain. When my friend came over she told me thàts where Lulu was buried. I never knew where she was, I didn’t want to know. Lulu was telling me it’s okay a black and white cat needs a home..I’m ok with it. I want you to be happy..I love you Lulu and I’ll never replace you. Ever……Maureen there is a higher power out there.
