Scooter, Bubba and Buddy – what little darlings, Linda. Aren’t you fortunate to have shared their lives? And how loving and kind of you to care for them, give them your love and know they lived their best lives. It’s a shame they are never with us long enough (forever wouldn’t be long enough), but what a gift to treasure the time we are allotted together. Thank you for sharing with us, and please share your own condolences with others in our caring community who are grieving the loss of their beloveds. And, please celebrate with us if or when you open your home and heart to others. I am sending you {{HUGS}} Toni

This was my Gilly boy got him at 3mons Ana neighbor ran over him. He was only 2and 1/2 years old. Still not over it🐾🐶❤️🩹-
Oh no, Linda. Oh no. I am so, so very sorry. Sudden and tragic death is shocking and extreme. I had a 9 month kitten hit and killed and understand. We’re here for you with sympathy. Toni

Linda, he looks so sweet – and a bit mischievous. How very sad to loose him so suddenly and under those circumstances! My heart goes out to you. I hope you have shoulders to cry on; there are people here in this community who understand your grief and will listen to what you feel like telling us about him. It does not bring him back but it keeps him alive. In Isabel Allende’s book Eva Luna the mother says to her daughter “People die only when we forget them. If you can remember me, I will be with you always.” I think the same goes for our dogs and cats and other beloved creatures. The task of grieving is to get to where you’re feeling them inside you and are able to take comfort in it, even if they are no longer around physically.

Linda, I am so sorry 😞 He was so cute and what happened to him was so tragic. I wish there were words I could say to help ease your pain. All of us here understand what you are going through. Sending you hugs 🫂 to comfort you at this very, very sad time. 💔
