Celebrate 5 years, 7 months agoThis is my second cat, ger name is Precious. I love her very much. But Jasmine I will always miss. They are like night and day.-
Christina, I am sorry about Jasmine. What made Jasmine and Precious so different? Precious is beautiful – do you have pictures of Jasmine, too? How long has Jasmine been gone? Does Precious miss her? I have a 17 year old cat I adopted four years ago, and Squirt many years ago and she died at nineteen. I still miss Squirt too, but LOVE my cat (yes, I call her Cat, Beauty Girl, Sweetheart, etc.) I will always love them all and think of them often. Please show us Jasmine, and stay involved with our community of pet lovers. Toni

How old is Precious? She is really pretty. Interesting markings on her fur.

Celebrate 5 years, 7 months agoThe first picture is Brighteyes and the second is Charley. They are both rescues. The black one is more friendly than the gray tiger. But we love them both. They were Birthday gifts from my husband one year apart from each other.-
Do they get along with each other? They’re really cute! How old are they now?

By the way, Charley looks quite a bit like my cat – a little white under the chin, although I suspect my girl is getting grey at seventeen 🙂

Wow, 17, is she doing well? I had an all-black cat that lived till he was 19 and a Siamese 20. Got them when they were 8 weeks old at the time.

Remember 5 years, 7 months agoKatie was my best friend. I got her 13 years ago as a Christmas gift from my husband, she was a rescue dog and would be around 19 years. She was a funny girl. When I fed her she would take her nose and try to flip her dish if she did not like it. She also would bark if she wanted my food or my husband\’s. I seriously don\’t know why someone would get rid of such a sweet little girl like her. She was so loved and we miss her dearly.-
Katie was very lucky to have found you. It’s soooo hard when they leave us at any age. I’m a little teary looking at her pictures. It’s not been very long since her passing and you need time to grieve. I am very sorry and hope you let us know how you are doing, and how we can support you. Toni

Remember 5 years, 7 months agoSunny my parakeet just passed away and his mate sunshine keeps calling for him and I don\’t know what to do, I want to get her a new mate but I don\’t know if that would upset her more or if she would accept him or not. Any advice will help.this is sunshine.-
I’m sorry for the passing of your beloved Sunny. Certainly, pets go through a grief process just like we do. Allow the healing process to progress forward for Sunshine…and give and send love to her. Blessings. -
I’m reaching out to our community to ask for advice in your specific situation. We have some veterinary professionals here, and are working to bring a veterinary counsel on board. Please, if you have a doctor for your parakeet, ask them, but Glenn is right – we all, pets and people, grieve. Give Sunny more attention and talk with Sunny about it. They get it. Poor baby … I’m sorry about your loss and so sorry your other bird is sad … there is nothing worse for your grief than seeing other pets grieve also. I hope, in time that your other parakeet will get over his loss and time will help heal your heart as well 🥰

Remember 5 years, 7 months agoMy Beautiful Destiny girl Is missed so much she would have been 20 yrs old on April 1st 2021 she passed away on 11-26-2020 it was a Beautiful 19yrs with my sweet girl she is greatly missed and will always be remeber I have her urns in a Beautiful case that my son picked out Destomg grew up with my children and grandchildren we miss her so much ❤ View

I’m guessing Blackie is the cat? My old girl looks just like that. Did they live together or were they with you at different times? They’re awfully cute and I know you miss them a lot. But they look very happy and much loved.

Crystal, is your dog adopted? Perhaps it suffered a trauma that still upsets it. I am very friendly with a delightful Westie who must have had her tail run over by a vehicle because she goes nuts when a vehicle goes by. We have some veterinary professionals in our community who may be able to answer your concern. Let’s see if we can get some people to respond. Also, you can search and find resources in our “Find Services” tab. The drop-down menu lists different services and if you put in your zip code you can find them in your area. I’m hoping some of our members have ideas for you.
