I’m sorry for the passing of your beloved Sunny. Certainly, pets go through a grief process just like we do. Allow the healing process to progress forward for Sunshine…and give and send love to her. Blessings.

Yes, my Annie was a beautiful Cocker Spaniel with a wonderful personality. We were a pair from day one. Her name? Me and my then wife got her on our first anniversary, so Annie seem appropriate, of course.
I smile because of the smart, silly companion she was. I eventually moved from Nashville to Phoenix and she came with me. I looked at it as her coming out to retire in the dry heat. She was and remains a blessing to me.
      • Blessed Tuesday, pet lovers.
I am so grateful to now be a part of the Faithful Friends team as a Spiritual Grief Counselor. I have gone through pet loss myself, so I know the pain and memories that come up when our pets pass on. This image is me holding my dear Annie, who is now gone a number of years. She is still in my heart. I think of her every day and smile every day.
If you are experiencing grief from the passing of your pet – whether it was yesterday or years ago – log onto the \”Grief Counseling\” link to the right of this page. My counsel is non-denominational and focused on where you are in the moment. I am here to help you move through your feelings and help you heal. I look forward to hearing from you. Blessings to you.

        • So happy to have you with us, Rev. Glenn! It’s tough to lose a pet. We’ve all been there, and it’s important to have someone to talk to.
          • Rev. Glenn, how nice to know you are here to help heal. What breed was Annie? Cocker Spaniel? How did she get her name? What helps you feel better when thinking of Annie?

            • I wanted to share photos from our first Pet Blessing ceremony Sunday at Scottsdale Center for Spiritual Living. Blessing the pets and beast of the world is one of my favorite duties as a minister. What a blessing to bless the pets in person, and the pets who have transitioned on. And so it is.

            • I wanted to post a photo of my cocker spaniel Annie, who I had to put down in 2001. What a wonderful companion. I miss her still.

              • Great to see Annie the Pooch again!

              • I understand. Squirt (I didn’t name her) was with me for 19 years – at that time, half my life, and I think of her so often. Now that I am volunteering at the Dumb Friends League, I am confronted with meeting new animal friends and having to leave them. It’s tough. But, we have to think of the comfort and joy we share. Maybe we are all like leaves – we bloom, flourish, and show and share our splendor as we gracefully make our departures from the all-connecting trees of life. ??

            • This is an amazing video from above of herding dogs with many sheep.

Hi Toni! I really love this website. In my spiritual ministry I am often asked to pray for pets. I love doing it. Next month I will be doing a pet blessing at our Scottsdale Center for Spiritual Living. Our congregants are urged to bring their pets to our service. Afterward, we have a blessing. It’s a wonderful service to provide.

Blessings to you, Toni. While I don’t have a dog at the moment, I plan to invite one in to my life very soon. I will post some pics of my cocker spaniel, Annie.

            • My favorite dog video. It makes me smile every time.

              • Hi Glenn. So happy to have you join us. Love the video – the true meaning of “Wait for it….”. Be in touch. Toni
