Yes, Romeo will always be a part of your heart and memories, and sometimes, when we allow ourselves to think back to the times that we shared, good and bad, the sadness and pain come back. The July Group Meeting will not be held this month but we will be here for you to share your stories, feelings, concerns and joys. We are ALWAYS here in our Community to listen and support you.
Please be weather wary for your pets. Extra hydration and ample shade are required in the heat, and quiet, safe places should be provided during storms. Enjoy your July and we will meet you August 20th for our group meeting. Toni -

Happy Birthday America! Our pets may not be celebrating with the heat and firework noises.😨 If you can, protect them from both by keeping them cool and away from the noise. Lots of water, petting and a calming voice.

Oh, even humans get carsick so that was probably causing Kaylanee’s distress. Let us know what the vet says abut Takoda’s ultrasound. Good to hear that your mother is doing well. I hope you are able to relax and enjoy your visit. Thank you for your update, Suzanne. -

Oh Suzanne, this is so hard for you and I am so sorry for your distress. If Takoda was calmer, so would you be, don’t you think? Maybe you are picking up on each other’s emotions. Hopefully the results will be good and you can enjoy your vacation with family. Don’t feel any pressure to join us this week, but DO keep us updated when you can. Suzanne, Please know that animal/beloved pet issues are extremely meaningful and powerful in ways nothing else can be and that we undertsand the deep anxiety and pain when one of them is in distress. You are not nuts, you are strong, kind, caring and generous to care so much for so many. The stress is real and if we can be a part of the support you need, we are here for you. Our group call is next Thursday, June 18th, but you are welcome to call me. We’re here for you Honey. -

Suzanne, I have been thinking about your questions and don’t have solid answers for you but think it might help to ask beforehand what charges there will be for any services rendered.
It sounds as if you need to find a different emergency hospital but it’s possible it would be farther away. Perhaps speaking with your regular vet will give you guidance.

Suzanne, you are a wonderful person and mother to so many who benefit from your relentless care. There is a “cost” of loving that is not monetary – we pay it with the pain of parting. I certainly hope Takoda is free of cancer and that the vitamins are the answer. I am thinking of you and sending you my very best wishes. 😻😻😻 -
