Oh my goodness…she certainly overcame a lot and is such a charming girl. You did a great thing to love and care and share with her. It’s really hard, isn’t it, when such a bundle of pure love has to leave us. I hope you are finding more smiles than tears when you think of her. Your pictures truly share her spirit and I am so sorry for her leaving, but so happy for your time together. -

I’m just trying to get though each day it’s so hard when you lose a fur baby yes he was black and was my baby for 14 years he’s been with me though some hard times and good times he was my little sleeping buddy I’m so lost without him

Oh how awful. I feel your pain – my cat sleeps tucked under my chin, and twice in the past two months I was sure I was losing her. The pain is so deep… My last cat was with me for nineteen years – literally half my life – and we went through so many ups and downs, trauma and drama together – I truly understand what you mean and are feeling. But, you must have shared a lot of really good times, lots of petting and loving, and it’s just a shame their lifetimes are a portion of ours, but you shared a great life together, didn’t you? Midnight was, and will always be, your love and buddy, and would want you to be happy for your times together. Please, Dolly, let us know how you are doing. I will be thinking of you, with love…

Oh Julie, how sad. I am so sorry. They were obviously very dear friends to each other, and to you. Do you know why they died so close together? Were they sick? How old were they? It’s okay to feel bad and miss them for as long as you do, but do you have happy times thinking of them, too? Please let us know about them, and you. Here’s a HUG. Toni -

Aces Bentacur is one of the coolest names – ever. He has swagger laying down, too. Look at that face! I miss him, too, even though I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting him. Thank you so much for sharing his picture. Isn’t sixteen years a nice, long life for larger dogs? You must have taken extremely good care of him. He was very lucky to live with you. And, even though you are hurting like heck, I bet you know, intellectually, you shared a fabulous life together. Problem is, emotionally it hurts. It has been a very brief time for you to be without him. It’s going to take time before your smiles come before your tears. One day, you’ll be thinking of him and laugh. Not now, but one day. Please stay in touch here with us and let us know when you need some kindness, or just caring ears. Toni -

Dianne, that is a spectacular story – you must have felt a very strong pull towards Bessie to drive so far. That is so lovely of you, and good for you both to find each other. It’s so darn hard when their lives end and we have to be without them around. But, do you find you are smiling when you think of your times together more than you cry now? It hasn’t been that long since you said goodbye, but I hope you know that your kindness and love, giving her a wonderful home and being her best friend, was everything. Please let us know how you are. I’d love to see more pictures if you like. Toni -
