Thank you Toni and Maureen <3 Velcro lived next door, he left home and moved in with me for 17 years . He was a crazy, silly , loving cat and I miss him so much , it's been 10 months and the pain is still unbearable , I could go on and on about how special he was , but we all feel that when we lose our babies <3 -

Dianne, why do you feel guilty? Talk to us about that. Oscar is certainly feeling the loss of Irish and you can help him by crying with him, petting him, visiting Irish’s “spots” and speaking softly about your times together. You are welcome to speak with me if you like. Let me know.Toni -

Well, I am having a hard time dealing with Irish’s death.I had him since he was a kitten.
I miss him scratching at my door to be let in and fed.I miss his sweet meow.I am in tears right now as I write this.As for Oscar,he knows something is wrong.My heart will never heal.I feel guilty. -

I understand now. Yes he will look for awhile. The safest thing for him is to keep him inside. Cause he will go looking for Irish. My heart goes out to Irish.,,and my heart goes out to You and Oscar..Love One Another…… -

We have a rodent problem in our neighborhood.Irish never wandered from my house.
I am not sure what happened.
I buried him three hours ago Oscar and Irish were my babies too.
All I know is that he was incoherent,he wouldn’t eat,nor drink water
Oscar is fine.He has no signs of being sick.

Oh no, Dianne. How horrid. I am so sorry.💔 How would someone poison him? Did you have company? The lethargy and staggering are symptoms of the Panleukopenia that killed Mac’s brother and sister. It is extremely virulent and is on the ground so can be tracked into a house.. Can you have Irish tested for that? If he had that, Oscar is going to need treatemnt (antibiotics and fluids). This is shocking and tragic and heartbreaking and I am in tears for you all.😪 Please let us know if you have Irish tested and what happens. Toni -

Hi everyone.Well,today is not a good day.Someone poisoned my cat,Irish.He is an inside outside boy.I hear him crying about 3 am,and found him.He was lethargic,he wasn\’t able to recognize me and when he walked,he was staggering.
I had put him in a towel,and he laid next to me.I got dressed and walked down to my family\’s house,and when I came back,he was cold and unresponsive.I had him for three and a half years.My heart is shattered.My other cat,Oscar is looking for him.-

So sorry for your loss of Louie 💔 I know you are heartbroken and my heart hurts for you. My boy, Romeo, was a toy poodle too (well, he was a HavaPoo mix) and very smart and funny as well and I miss him terribly.
I wish you peace at this very sad time and Im sending you warm, comforting hugs 💔 -

Tracey, I am sorry for your loss 💔 It sounds like Ein had a wonderful life with you filled with love and much happiness. A life he and his brother would not have if they hadn’t been rescued by you.
