It’s been one year since my Dog Tanner 15yr old black lab crossed the rainbow bridge. It has gotten a little better, but not a day goes by that I dont think of her. Some memories bring tears, and some bring smiles. I miss her so much

I think it is a long process with losing a furbaby…Its been 7 months since my girl June crossed the rainbow bridge…I miss her too…Sending good thoughts to you and hugs too…Tanner is watching you I bet…. -
Leslie, Christina, I am so glad you are supporting each other as you mourn Tanner and June. That’s what our community is all about – sharing. Grief is not linear: it flows up, down, in and out. Some things trigger fun, funny and fabulous memories of the lives we were so fortunate to share, and sometimes a glance down the pet food aisle will bring you to tears. It is all part of loving, and losing. The deeper the love, the stronger the joy, and grief. Please try to bring forth the happy times, and allow yourselves to feel and embrace the sorrow. I know exactly how you feel,it will be a year in April for my Ruby and I look in my empty yard every day and cry, it’s so hard,I hope she has everything she needs now and I wish I could have saved her,she had cancer 💔 anyways God Bless 💟🐾🙏💐 -
I know exactly how you feel. I lost my Romeo a little over a year ago, and my heart is still shattered. I will never get used to him being gone. June will be with you for the rest of your life. She lives in your heart. Sending you hugs 💔

Joyce, I am so sorry for your parting from Cocoa.💔 What a little doll. Our pets are only on loan to us, never for long enough (forever wouldn’t be long enough), but you and Cocoa enjoyed a long life of love and joy, and I know you treasure that. You’re right – the pain of parting is deep, just as is the love. I hope you can think of the many fun, funny and loving times you shared and that you find comfort knowing Cocoa had his best life with you. this is my Cocoa who I had to help cross the Rainbow bridge on 1/24/24 he was 19. He started not feeling well and went down hill quick. As much as it tore my heart in two I owed it to him to make his leaving us as peaceful as possible. The grief and heart ache are unbearable. But I wouldn’t change a thing you little man were my world!-

The most invaluable commodity there is, is time. It a non renewable resource which there is no compensation for the loss. Time itself is also the only true remedy of the loss of a loved one or dear pet companion. Let’s be more selective and discerning on how and who we spend our time with, if we love them, we should make time, if the love isn’t reciprocated, then don’t waste it. My deepest and sincere condolences to those of us dealing with loss, time and faith is the only remedy for such loss, so take your time! Love you all
