Hi I haven’t posted in awhile but wanted to share an up date on my 4 boys that were adopted in memory of my 3 girls that passed between May of 2022 and January of 2023. Oliver, on my lap and Sebastian the orange one are my bonded 11 year old senior boys. They celebrated their 2nd gotcha anniversary on August 4. Sebastian is beginning to feel more comfortable and at home and enjoys spending time with his human when his brothers aren’t around. Oliver is my expensive” problem child, who’s being treated for IBS and is doing reasonably well and thankfully will eat the special diet food prescribed by the vet. He’s also down to a healthy 11-12 lbs, his weight fluctuates from his pudgy 17 lbs when I first got him. Takoda, my all black 3 year old is doing well, compared to his “ incorrigible” , 3 year year old brother Oreo, he is mellow and quiet but gave his human quite the scare in May of this year when he went missing for 4 days, just before his first gotcha day anniversary. Oreo, was my emergency rescue, whom, I adopted less than a month after Takoda. He’s the sweetest lovable boy when he wants to be but is also an incorrigible holy terror at times, driving his brothers crazy, especially poor Sebastian, who wants to know why his human welcomed him into the family. Oreo is a wild and crazy boy who has boundless energy and is often times seen zooming around the house at high rates of speed, “flying” over 18 gallon totes and leaping onto counters and high places. However despite all the challenges of having 4 cats, I can’t imagine life with out my boys, miss them when I’m unable to be with them and they’ve most certainly helped to fill the void in my life and the hole in my heart after I lost my Spirit, 14, Autumn Ranger, 12 and Saraya 16 1/2 all with in less than 8 months of each other. Hoping everyone is doing as well as they are able as they welcome new fur babies into their lives and mourn the passing of others. God’s loving, healing embrace be with you all. Prayers for all mourning the passing of a beloved pet and for the recovery of sick ones. -

Brony, what a stunner Frankie is! How lucky (for both of you) that he found you, and your kindness and care🤗I’ve marked September 20th on my calendar and look forward to your update about how he’s doing. Yes, keeping and caring for pets can be costly, but the value we receive is priceless❤️Thank you for the update and the ones to come. Give Frankie a {{BIG HUG}} from me. Toni -

This is an update on Frankie. His surgery went well. I wasn’t. He went to the vet at 8am and was discharged at 4pm. A long time. But he’s home a little out of it, he doesn’t like being locked up with the door closed, but it’s for his own good. I will be sleeping on the floor tonight. Just to make sure, hope I can move after that. Well that’s about all I can report now. Take care
-
Hi Brony, I’m glad Frankie’s surgery went well and that he’s recovering nicely. ❤️
-
Brony, how is Frankie today? I slept on the floor with Mac for two weeks and it was kind of fun – like camping, but inside. Please kepe us up to date about how you are both doing. 🤗Toni

Hi Toni, well the kitty that was thrown from a car and my friend brought him to me had a vet appointment in August, he is 5 months old, he for shots, which slowed him down for a day. He runs like a rocket thru the house ever since. He’s feeling fine until Sept 20th when he goes in to (shhhhh) get neutered. After that I am going to learn what’s it like to have a Siamese. I have learned already how intelligent he is also how stubborn. I wish you the best and I will keep you updated on Frankie and how he’s runs me ragged not to mention how costly it is to have a kitten -

The hardest thing I’ve ever had to do it say goodbye to my Dexter. He got CHF unexpectedly. I cried for days. 4 months later I got Dixie and she’s been my saving grace. Don’t be afraid to get another pet. You’re not replacing him, just expanding your love circle. God bless -

Oh Teresa, I am so sorry💔You gave Lukey the most generous, kind and loving gift – a peaceful passing. It takes a lot of love to say goodbye, and that carries a lot of pain. Included in your grief are many memories of the fun, funny and loving times you and Lukey were lucky to share. I hope you can pull forth some of those good memories and find joy in knowing Lukey lived his best life with you. Teresa, please join our group meeting September 19th (at 7PM Eastern) to share with our kind, understanding people, and continue to share your feelings here with us in the Community. I am sending you my sympathy, and {{BIG HUGS}}. Toni -

This is my baby Lukey I had to say goodbye to him on July 22nd 2024 because he got sick and I had to humanely euthanize him because he didn\’t need to suffer anymore. He was my baby and my best friend for the last 2 years and not a day goes by I have not cried. Love you Lukey and miss you so much RIP baby boy-
