We went to Petsmart and saw Santa-

My Teddy Bear-
I know, Susan-it’s empty and you hurt. A lot. Try to think of something silly or funny Teddy Bear did. It can be hard to look at pictures, but they can bring back some smiles, too.

Last night I lost my Teddy .I Bear kitty to heart failure.I feel so broken inside.

Oh no, Susan. I am so, so sorry. These are the days we know will come one day, and when they do, it’s devastating. But, we know going in that our darlings are only “on loan” to us, and we get to enjoy the time of loving and joy together for as long as we, and they, can. It hurts in a way nothing else does and I feel it with you. A stuffed toy helped me – do you have something with which you can cuddle? Don’t be too quick to remove Teddy’s things. You may be surprised by the comfort they can bring you over the next days and weeks. Try to stay active and engaged with other things, and allow yourself time to feel your grief and the pain. That’s the path to a day when your memories will bring you smiles before tears. It takes a lot of love to share a life, and say goodbye. I hope you know that you and Teddy were very fortunate to have each other, and he would only want for you to rejoice in your shared life and love, as you would for him. Susan, please, please let us know how you are coming through. I’m thinking of you. {{ }} Toni

Wed will be a year since I lost my Bugsy.This has been a very emotional weekend for me but my boyfriend has been so sweet and understanding.He has cheered me up all weekend.

Anniversaries are tough, Susan. And can be good in the memories they carry. Do you still have your kitty? May we see some pictures of both Bugsy and the kitty (and the boyfriend if you like)? Nothing much.Facebook shared a video of my dog Bugsy and I got a little upset Thursday.

Of course you did, Susan. It’s shocking to see him when you weren’t expecting to. I bet whoever posted it meant it kindly, in his memory. I ordered a canvas print of my girl. Probably will get a woven throw, too (they’re really nice). But that’s different from seeing Bugsy when you weren’t prepared. How are you doing now, Susan?

Well it’s been over a month since Bugsy crossed over.I miss him everyday but I know he is much happier where he is now.He is pain free and no longer blind.Its just me and my kitty now.I think of Bugsy as our guardian angel watching over us
