I wrote about our loss of Lei-D-bug and 1 of her pups but he was almost 13 in people years and buggy only 8 monthes older than him. We have 2 of her other pups they are pet Companions one for me and 1 for my husband; Tank we found out last month has a nerve issue on his spine 5hat can come and go or paralyze him. 1st time it took 3 days for him to walk again we were terrified! This new one is going on 3 weeks and not getting better, losing use of back legs but still strong elsewhere so looking into a wheelchair. Tank is a fighter and like a person we have given him the you can go talk your gonna be missed but no pain; vet said he will let us know when it’s time so I care for him 24/7 View

Hello,
As you read from my last post we have lost Tank but from what I have seen the wheelchairs help leaps and bounds. Prayers to your furbabies and this is when I have a good chat and look them in the eyes; you have been together long enough signs are their. Hugs to you both.-
Thank you for the update, Connie. I’ve been wondering about Tank and am sorry he said goodbye. But, you are right – there is a time when the kindest, most generous act of love is to let them go. I am convinced they know, too, and are grateful for the release. Still, it’s a very sad time and we are here for you. Please let us know how you are coming along.

I know your pain but I like to look at my pups picture and remember all the good and focus on no more pain. I’m truly sorry mine was march 4th.-
It hasn’t been at all long since your partings, and I don’t think there is a timeline for finding smiles before tears, but as much as it hurts to say goodbye, I do think it matters how old or ill they were. There is always sadness, but often there is a sense of relief and release for them if they were suffering or failing. Jamie, what happened with your Smokey?

Im sorry for your loss yes our pets were life savers during pandemic. Go to shelters they have many great choices who need homes. -

Connie, a wheelchair sounds like a good solution. Please let us know if you get one and how he does with it – it should work well for him. It’s hard, isn’t it…when they have problems and are so stoic. You may have seen me write that my girl, who will turn 17 this month, is being treated for a number of ailments but seems to be ‘feline’ fine :-). I’m the wreck about it… Keep us posted, and Good Luck Tank! Hang in there!

We knew she had a heart murmur since a pup. I was sitting with her the night before and I’m the vet at home so I get a feeling or sense from my furbabies. Her eyes, her quietness and she’s bubbly; we stayed with and talked to her and we miss her and Ranger everyday he was one of her pups. -

Remember 5 years, 5 months agoWe lost Rangers mom on January 5th 2021 her name is Lei-D-Bug ; they couldn\’t give her the medicine to save her because it would be fluid on her lungs and drowned her. We took her in for a check up and left alone in shock.-
Oh my goodness, Connie – What a terrible shock for you. You made the hardest, kindest choice for Lei-D-Bug but how terribly sad. I am so very sorry. Were there symptoms?

Connie, since you just lost his mother, Lei-D-Bug, is there something about this breed that happened to Ranger and Lei-D Bug? What breed/s are they? Thinking of you…..
