She was blind when I took her from where she used to live, but that didn’t matter to me. She was so sun burned, and had no hair on her little body, but she was a fighter. She later lose the use of her back legs from a stroke, but she still fought. I made her a little cart so she could get around and no get under things that would hurt her. I have a old timey wood cook stove and I was afraid she would get under it and get trapped. She went over the rainbow bridge 3 yrs ago and I still miss that little soul everyday. I’m learning to move on, I still carry her ashes with me everywhere I go she is my strength. Til we meet again my sweet Baby Girl.

Kristen, Ouch. I actually feel your pain, if you can accept that. This is the hard part of loving beyond oueselves – saying goodbye. Nothing, absolutely nothing, hurts this much, or in this way. As you think of Pip, I hope you can recall the many fun and funny times you shared, and that you begin to find joy in his memories. Dianne, it is good to hear from you, albeit in commemorating your parting from Princess. The anniversary of saying goodbye is hard – it brings back so many memories, especially of your last days together.Your Mama Cat was 15, but how old was Princess? It sounds like you are able to recall the many years of fun, funny and loving times you and Princess shared. That’s what she would want you remember, don’t you think? Again, the anniversary is a milestone, one of many you shared, and I hope you can find many smiles with your memories. @helen1963 Helen, I can see how happy and well-loved Harley was. Love the picture of him sleeping on his back! It IS very hard and sad to say goodbye even though we know our pets are only “on loan” to us, and never for long enough.💔 It looks as if you have a loving family to share your grief, and please don’t forget to celebrate the many fun and funny times you got to share with Harley. I rescued Harley when he was 3 years old and we had him for 1p years the day we sent him to the rainbow bridge was the hardest thjng I ever had to do he was a good boy and we loved him and always will forever remember him

Cheistina, how are your migraines? Does the Botox help? My aunt gets shots every three months, too, and finds reief. Is your back better? Sadness and grief take a lot out of us and can contribute to physical pains. Conversely, joy and happiness can increase our energy and help us heal. Are you still writing notes to June? Have you noticed your messages are getting a bit happier with your memories? Have you tried writing what June would want to say to you? I bet she’d be all happy and grateful for your love and care, and would want you to be happy for having her in your life. Moose he was a Berenese Mountain Dog which is a large breed. He was my fur Grandson but I adored him as much as his human family. He passed away about a week ago. I will definitely miss this sweet and good natured boy.

Tami, this is a gorgeous likeness of beautiful Isis. I hope you continue to draw and write, and if you like, you can have your image of Isis put on canvas, or clothing, in our Shop. I have both with my Beauty Girl and love having her picture with me on the front and back of the sweatshirt. Since you like to write, may I suggest you write TO Isis telling her everything you want her to know, and if you can, write FROM Isis to you with what you think she would want you to know. This can help make clear the absolute joys you shared, and how much you appreciated your lives together. We want our pets to be with us forever, and in our hearts and memories, they are. But since they are only “on loan” to us, we have to let them go one day. I hope you can find smiles before tears with your memories of Isis💔Toni -

Chuck!! How delightful to hear from you and Dixie!🎉 What color are her nails now? 🤗When did you get little Asia? They look like they get along well. You may recall that, after my beloved BG passed, Boots came into my life and, as you say, didn’t “replace” her but certainly helped me through the terrible grief. It’s a good reminder that when one leaf has fallen from the tree, another will bloom. I hope you’ll tell us more about your two little hooligans, and stay in touch. 💕Toni -

Update… Dixie the doxi is 2 1/2 yrs old and though not replacing Dexter, has made this journey much easier. Asia the Bischon is the newest addition. She\’s a huge brat lol-
