Pamela, Stella Maris is simply too cute. Did you meet her at the Charlotte shelter? Please, please, tell us about her …… 🙂
      • Both my husband and our Schnauzer had died the previous year and I needed another pet. She was the day’s Rescue pet on a local News at Noon report but named “Tiny Tina”. I had to have her, so I contacted Project Halo and adopted her (changing her name to mean “Star of the sea”)! This is our 8th Anniversary!

Debbie, This is good to hear. It takes time to heal enough to welcome a new love into our hearts, and I am glad you found Jax. Is he in any of the photos?

Angel, hi. Is this Sawyer or Shadow? What a regal face. Is it a Boxer? Did Sawyer and Shadow live with you at the same time? I am sorry for your losses and hope you are doing okay.
              • This is sawyer. He is a Pitt bull and shadow was a female Pitt they both lived with me and a low life neighbor killed them

Hello Joyce. I am sorry for your losses of Rusty and Sox. What kind of pets were they? Was Rusty sort of red, and did Sox have white paw markings? Is that how they got their names? Are you doing okay?

Maggie, I would say you have not only domesticated this kitty – it’s on it’s way to being spoiled :-)…How nice for the cat, and of you for caring for these poor feral cats. I am interested in hearing about what you are doing…please share your stories, and Thank You!

I am sorry, Peggy. It is so very hard. When you see the similarities, is it because they are the same breed?

Connie, if you are up to taking in another dog, there are a lot in Texas who need foster care while the state recovers from the storm. Let us know what you do…

Hi Judith :-).. Are you still in touch with Sweet Pea? It sounds like you very thoughtfully and lovingly made sure she had another loving home. You are very kind and generous to think of Sweet Pea’s best interest. Judith, if you share the sorrow of losing a beloved pet, it would be welcome for you to share your sympathy and support to others in our community. Do let us know how you are doing, please.

Connie, who spoiled who, here :-)? Isn’t it funny how we think one way, and meet a loving faithful friend, and can’t imagine NOT having had them share our lives?
                                      • ⁶Toni I told my son it was his fault. When he brought him to me Christmas eve Beary Good Boy rode in Ray’s lap from Dallas to San Antonio. But I was doing on line schooling full time for my bachelor’s so in order to give time to this tiny bay boy he laid between my key board and me on my desk. He was actually kennel trained untilled I let a young lady that was a friend of the family move in while her husband was in Iraq. She would bring him up stairs at night and put him in bed with me. So……poof there went the kennel. But I don’t think the kennel was needed once he was house broken. I was the one who spoiled him. He was actually the only dog that only was mine. Growing up and raising the family the dogs were ours. Beary Good Boy was just my baby. I still talk to him. I still tell him it’s bed time and I still see him when I sit down to eat. I’m not sure if I will get another baby again or not. I will be moving soon from California to Texas so if I do it will be after I move. I also have some major health issues so I have to think about that as well. But I have not said no to the idea.
