Oh Michele I’m so sorry for your loss of Mittens. I know how you are feeling. I lost Lulu in June she also was 13 years old. It broke me. I adopted Lucy to help heal my heart. My heart still misses Lulu, but it’s doing better. Understand that you are a part of special individuals. Keep you chin up. Come back anytime .We are here for you. -

Hi there Chuck, I’m sorry for your loss but I am glad you adopted. When I lost Lulu I had no purpose in life until I got Lucy. She runs me ragget. Glad you have something to mend your heart…. -

When I lost my Lulu I was a crying mess for months. I adopted Lucy cause I was so lonely. She helped to mend my heart. Take your time. Something shall come along to help heal your heart. -

Hi Toni, this is crazy Lucy. She doesn\’t know how to use this scratching pad, but she is using it to sleep on.-
Brony, cats find the darndest places to sleep. We found one of ours in the engine of the car because it was warm! It would be fun to have everyone share pictures of “strange cat sleeping spots”!! Thanks for sharing darling little Crazy Lucy. We like to participate in adventures😻😻

Buddy will be missed. I’m sure your grandson misses him. I’m so sorry for your loss. Keep your chin up. It will be hard. My Lulu passed away on June 4 2023 almost 14 years old, she was my everything. I adopted another cat, Lucy. The tears are drying up. The love I had for Lulu will never fade, I just learned to share it. I hope comfort comes to you and know that we feel your pain. Hugs for you. -

Thank you for sharing this, Brony. And isn’t it true? We suffer the loss and agony of parting, but must remember the many joys and endless love we shared. It reminds me of my “ruler” exercise: Think of your time together as a ruler with each year being an inch. Only a fraction at the end was bad – the rest was just pure delight! This is a lovely poem and I invite others to share poems and sentiments that inspire, move or make them smile 🤗🤗💕💕Toni

Maureen it’s because of people like you that make my days a little easier. Thank you. Believe me when I say it takes time. Take all time you need. I still call Lucy, Lulu. Thirteen years is a hard habit to break. My blessing to you. -

I adopted crazy Lucy. When she isn’t stealing a hot dog, I enjoy watching movies with her. I am recovering from a stroke so as awesome as it sounds, I wouldn’t be any good at the shelters. I live alone with two friends, and no family. Even with this crazy cat I get down sometimes. Lulu was my inspiration, I was lost without her. But animals are the best, Lucy doesn’t even look at the walker as a weird part of me.. Don’t feel bad, at least I can talk and I’m working on my walking. I am slow at everything, but you know the saying, slow but determined. Like the rabbit and tortoise. I will keep going. God made me this way. He has a funny sense of humor. -
