This is the last photo I have of Ariel.I miss her so much.I cry everyday.-
I’m so sorry, Stephen. It’s only been about six months since Ariel passed, hasn’t it? That’s not overly long to feel deep grief. How is little Leo doing? Leo can’t replace the love and missing you have for Ariel, but I’m sure he helps bring you joy. Let us know how you are coming along, Stephen, and update us on Leo. Hugs

Actually the top photo is Ariel and the bottom photo is Victoria. They got mixed up somehow.Ues they both lived with us since puppies.17 years.Passed away 3 months apart.I miss them so.-
They were with you for so many life experiences, shared your ups and downs, those are big holes in your day to day life. How fortunate to have enjoyed so many years together, though. When my 19 year old died it was very mixed for me – she was old and needed to go, and I understood that, but she was with me through so many times that she left a void. It’s been long enough that her memory always brings smiles, but it takes awhile to get there. Please keep letting us know how you are.

Here are my girls Victoria top photo and Ariel bottom photo.I miss them so much.-
Stephen, I don’t believe we’ve met Victoria before. I remember Ariel. Did they live with you at the same time? We grieve and heal in our own times and I hope sharing your pain, and stories with us helps you to know you have caring people who truly understand with you to move through it. It’s really hard. Victoria’s eyes are soulful – she was a sweetheart, wasn’t she?

It makes my heart ache to hear all these stories of pets passing.I feel the pain that they feel.I am so sorry for all the losses.
-
I am so glad to hear from you, Stephen. I’ve been thinking of you and wondering how you are doing. I know it’s hard to read the pain we share here. I tear up so often reading the stories and seeing the pictures, but because we all care and understand the pain of parting from a beloved pet, I hope it helps to share. I have always thought Joy shared is joy doubled, grief shared is grief halved. You are generous and thoughtful to share YOUR understanding and sympathies with others. It really means a lot to know we have one another. You may find some smiles and joy reading some of the happy news that is shared. Lisa has a new black kitten! Tani has some funny photos…. And Stephen, please let us know how you are coming along. Here’s another HUG. Toni

It has been 4 months and it feels like yesterday. She was a beautiful Jack Russell. She was my ESA.I miss her.-
There is no time line for grieving, Stephen, and even after much time passes and you find smiles before tears, little things can trigger memories and emotions. In our Shop, we have two books to help with the grieving process if you would find that helpful. You are welcome to share your feelings and keep us updated on how you are doing – that’s why our community is here – to support one another through this terribly difficult time. When you feel up to it, if you have pictures, we’d love to see her. Sending you a HUG…..
