    I had to say good by to my world this morning..she rescued me in so many ways and did not deserve cancer. I’m not sure how I’m going to get through this

          Chandra, you WILL get through this but it will be painful. Please try to bring forth memories of the fun, funny and loving times you shared, and remember the reasons you opened your home and heart to her. In our heads we know that one day we will have to say goodbye, but our hearts shatter when that time comes. We ask ourselves “Was it worth the pain?” and right now you may not feel that it was, but would you give up your years together to avoid that? Only you can answer that, and your answer may change with time. Perhaps writing a note to her, and writing what you think SHE would want you to know will help.
