Hello friends. It’s been a while that I have posted. Last year(2023)I lost my husband to pancreatic cancer and my 2 dogs miss him terribly. I’m so sorry to read of the losses of your beloved pets. Our husky mix Bradley is almost 13 and having some issues walking but he makes it out to potty but know my time with him is growing short-he’s a big boy(over 150 pounds).

Jean, How nice to hear from you. You have had such a loss – I lost my husband many years ago and it still hurts. The pain does lessen, don’t you find? But we will always carry a bit of grief within us, I think. And yes, our pets mourn losses, too, not only of a human, but other pets in our family. It is so hard to watch our elderly pets become frail, and anticipating their passing is painful every day. I am sorry Bradley is aging, but happy for the years of love and joy you have shared. Jean, please feel welcome to stay engaged with us and let us know how you, Bradley and your other pup are faring.
