Well my home is just so empty. With just myself and Tubby here we feel so alone. Tubby I think is depressed as she only gets up long enough to eat drink and do her business and get a few pets. I came home one day and to my surprise there was a little black kitten sitting in my walkway. I know I\’ve said no more but my arms reached out for it. I brought it in for alittle while and loved on it then put it back outside to be with it\’s mother. For several days this happened and I found myslef starting to love this kitten that I started calling Little Bit. Unfortunately I went out one morning an found him to have crossed the rainbow bridge sometime overnight. My heart was shattered again. Even though this little sweet black soul did not live long it touched my heart deeply. I have lost so many of my precious babies this year and I do hope 2023 will be better. I Hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.-
Glenda, Oh my gawd, I don’t have words right now, but, while your story is so very tough, it is good to hear from you. I will have more to share tomorrow – this is very moving for me and I need to absorb it. Here is a {HUG} until then my dear. -
Sorry that it seems I only post when I have suffered a loss. Thank you, Toni for your kind words, I know I have said no more cats for me, but Little Bit proved me to be lying to myself. While I am not looking for another cat if God wants me to have another one will find me instead just like that sweet little soul did. I would like to think that in his short time on earth that he knew love. I would have eventually brought him in for good and had him neutered and all of his shots. I am a firm believer in spay and neuter, there are far too many babies that are strays or in shelters. I will be spending the Holidays alone with just Tubby and remembering all my babies who has crossed the bridge. I hope everyone have a Blessed Christmas and a Very Happy New Year filled with love.

Join us Thursday evening, Glenda. You’ll get an email that day with the link. I’m like you in that I think pets come to us, but I also think we need to put ourselves in their path. I met my beloved, departed Beauty Girl when I brought her home for medical fostering. Had I not volunteered for that, I would have missed five glorious years of love and joy we shared. So don’t be shy about putting yourself out there, mentioning to people that you may be open to bringing another love into your home and heart. Let’s see what happens! Absolutely agree about spay and neuter. And Glenda, make the most of this holiday season with Tubby. You are lucky to have each other. Toni
