    @ghorton01 Hello Glenda, and welcome to our caring community. Were your pets named Baby Blessing and Blackbeard, or Baby, Blessing and Blackbeard? Will you tell us about them, please?

      No Baby Blessing was his name. and h e was a cat. I also had Blackbeard, Company, ,Lucky, Winkin, Diablo, Pookie, Coon, Smokey and Miss Pepper the dog. All have passed away and I miss them terribly. But I still have Kissingner, Bubbles, Tubby, Possum, Thomas and Salt to love everyday. I guess you could say I am a crazy cat lady.

              We seem to find each other, I have always loved all animals but cats tend to be my favorite, I have no children so they are my babies instead,

              I guess you can say we find each other. I have alwaysloved all animals but I tend to love cats more. I have no children so they are my babies instead. I have had my heart broken so many times with them passing away and I always say no more but then I always seem to come across one who needs me but the truth is I need them just as much as they need me. I am so thankful that I found this website, Thank you for your kind words.

                  Glenda, I am right there with you…They do seem to find us, and we, them. I like being a “Cat Lady”, and any kind of animal person :-)..
                  The pain of loss is deep, and I know some people who won’t have another pet because they don’t want to suffer that pain again, yet many others of us welcome the chance to love, and be loved by, another (and another) furry friend. We created Faithful Friends to be a safe place to seek or lend support, and if you like, please extend your kind words to others in our community who need some support during such a tough time. I look forward to hearing more of your stories. Thank you for being a part of us. Toni
