Brony, how is Frankie today? I slept on the floor with Mac for two weeks and it was kind of fun – like camping, but inside. Please kepe us up to date about how you are both doing. 🤗Toni -

I haven’t posted in sometime since my cats I had passed away. Isis was the last one to leave me but not before I got Rainebow. Rainebow seemed to have missed her previous home where she had a sister so then I took Shadow and Icie in from a friend since they were pregnant and outside in a kennel. They had the kittens and all found homes, I got them fixed (Rainebow was already fixed). Then my last cat I took in was in Aug, his name is Zyrus. 3 of my 4 have ear tips. They all get along-

This is an update on Frankie. His surgery went well. I wasn’t. He went to the vet at 8am and was discharged at 4pm. A long time. But he’s home a little out of it, he doesn’t like being locked up with the door closed, but it’s for his own good. I will be sleeping on the floor tonight. Just to make sure, hope I can move after that. Well that’s about all I can report now. Take care -

Ellen I understand, the emptyness is overwhelming.. I had a calico (Lulu Mortimer Johnson) she was 16 when she died. That was 2 years ago. I will always have a place in my heart for her as will you with Angelina and her sister Lizzie.. they are chasing and playing with each other now and for eternity. .. I got another cat, well it was brought to me..he was thrown from a car when he was about 3 months old. I’ve had him a couple of months, he is Siamese, and I never liked them, but he has changed my mind, he is super intelligent. I wonder if he knows he is getting neutered in the morning? I hope he doesn’t hate me to much. Ellen you take care and know there is someone out there that feels your pain. Huge Hugs. -

💔Diane, this is the hard part of loving – saying goodbye. Your pain is as deep as your love for Oscar. Even though in our heads we know we will part one day, our hearts shatter when that time comes. I am so very sorry, but so very happy for the long life of love you and Oscat were so fortunate to share. If you can, think of a fun, funny time you shared. Let yourself laugh and be happy for those times. Oscar would want you to be happy for the joys you shared, don’t you think? And let yourself cry (as if you have a choice) – it’s healing to literally ‘get it out’. Please join our group meeting tomorrow, Thursday Sept. 19 at 7PM Eastern, You can stay as long as you like, and you can cry with us. We understand and are here to listen and lend comfort. We are all thinking of you and I am sending you {{BIG HUGS}. Toni

Hi Suzanne, I’m glad to hear that your kitties are moving along nicely and doing well. You surely have a lot on your plate, but I know it gives you so much joy to have all of them with you. What a nice life you are giving them.
Thank you for the update and I wish you all the best. -

Dianne, I am so very sorry for your loss of Oscar 💔 It sounds like he had a long amazing life with you especially after you found him on your porch. He left this world snuggled in love.

Anyways,my daughter had been caring for Oscar and he had been showing signs he was ready to go.When my daughter to him to the vet, they gave him his sedative, but my daughter was holding Oscar in her arms,as his face was in her cheek, the vet didn\’t give him half of the second injection,as he purred, and he was gone. The vet told my daughter that Oscar was the oldest cat she had ever seen.
When we moved to where I was living,in the three and a half years, his memory was fading. It was to where Oscar couldn\’t remember me,but I was just the nice lady who fed him, gave him water and scooped his litter box.He was forgetting to eat.He used to weigh about 15 pounds, but he was light as a feather. He was supposed to move up to Western New York with my family, but he couldn\’t have made a three day, 17 hour road trip.So I did some math in my head, and when I found him almost frozen to death on my porch back in 2007,he was an adult cat, maybe 7 years old.He wasn\’t a spring chicken.I am guessing he was way over 24 years old.
My heart is really breaking because he took a huge piece of my heart with him.He was my best friend, and my constant companion. There will never be another cat like Oscar.I get his ashes back on Friday.-
I am so sorry. I wish I could say something to help with the hurt. My prayers are with you and your family. You have given him many years of love.

Suzanne🤗🤗I am so happy to hear from you, and to have this wonderful update. That’s what we hope for in our community – to hear about your babies, those with us, and those to whom we have said goodby. You have quite the full house! I feel as if I know each of them now, just a bit, and they sound like great buddies for you and among themselves (well, most of the time)😎 How lovely and loving of you to open your home and heart again, especially to these boys who were in need. And it’s great that you kept bonded pairs together. I think Mac and Roni would die, literally, if they were separated. Maybe you will join our group call Thursday September 19th and try to corral the kids so we can meet them. That would be very nice, and we’d love to see you. Please keep sending updates, and pictures if you can because we love seeing the little darlings (monsters).😻You are always welcome to light another candle to each Spirit, Autumn Ranger and Saraya as a way of sending them a little “kiss”. Thank you for being such a wonderful, kind person. Sending lots of {{BIG HUGS}} to you all. Toni - Load More
