Hello Brandy. Bella sure was a beauty. I am so very sorry for your loss. You must be raw, it is so recent. I hope you are finding some comfort with the memorial items. Awww….Beverly, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Bella. Losing our precious fur babies is so painful. I lost my boy almost 5 months ago and I am still grieving so hard, but, I am trying to cope. This grief is like no other and I am sending you hugs 🫂 to comfort you at this very sad time. I wish you peace.

,Thank you Toni for your beautiful words. It was almost 16 years that we had Sally by our side and her departure was very painful for us. I know that she is in a better place without pain and without suffering, but my heart misses her too much and I know that she will always be in my best memories of her. -
Mara, how fortunate you and Sallt were to spend such a loving, long time together. In our heads we know our pets are only on loan to us, but in our hearts we ache when we say goodbye. It’s good you are honoring Sally with best memories of her. It helps take the sting away, a bit, and I hope helps you find joy with her memories. I am glad to have you in our community, although sad for the reason, and if you would find comfort in sharing your own sympathy and understanding with others here, that would be very kind of you. Perhaps you will come to our online group meeting June 15th and talk about Sally with us. Please keep us posted about how you are doing. {HUGS} Toni

Yuvonne, behind every little memorial candle that gets lit is a story with a sad end. I am sorry you find yourself here but also glad that you reached out for help: there are people here willing to listen and help you mourn Milo. Talking about him is hard and sad but it also shows your love and appreciation and over time it will unburden your heavy heart. Tell us about Milo and make him known to us if you can. Rebecca, I am so, so sorry for your loss 😞 From what I read, I see how loving and kind you have been to so many kitties, knowing full well that one day you would go through this horrible pain when they leave.
I lost my boy in January and am still grieving so hard. I don’t know how people can go through this heartache over and over again. But, I thank goodness for people like you who help these poor fur babies.

Lovetta, what a beautiful cat Mojo is! Did she have green eyes? How are you doing? I hope you have people around you who understand your grief and are able to listen. And there is a whole community of people here who can relate and are willing to help you through this. What did you like most about Mojo? What is your favorite memory of her? If you cannot talk about that yet I understand. But some day you will be able to remember her with love and without tears. I am sending good wishes!

Elisabeth, I am sorry you lost Nicka! It is never long enough, is it? I would like to hear more about her and about your life with her. No matter how they leave us, because of illness or old age or an accident, it is heartbreak every time. Please tell us about her and keep her alive this way. It is hard to make the transition from grieving their death to feeling them inside of us and being able to talk about them without tears, remembering their whimsies and habits. I wish you the best!

My Molly aka Bandit is my Kitty who provides Comfort and yes she’s full of energy and fun … I want to add my condolences to those who have lost their Fur-Baby to Cancer or simply old age … Run Free 💙🐾🕊️ 🐾💜

What a sweet face he has! I know how you wait for them to show up where they used to be! When I would drive up to my house my cat Drew would welcome me. He could hear I was coming from the sound of my car! It’s been 3 years and I still for a split second expect him to sit there waiting for me. But now I think more about how cute and funny he was. And your boy is safe now, no aches or pains due to age or illness. Sometimes I think we are courageous to give our hearts away again and again because we know it’s not forever. But the time we have with them is precious and stays with us. All the memories and stories. I hope you have support to help heal your heart, a friend or your family. And you have this group. Talking about them helps. Sending good wishes! -
