Thank You she’s is the love of my life
      • I can see why – that face…those eyes…More pictures, please:-). I’ll try to post some of my sweetheart. She’s going to be 17 in March and we fell in love at first sight four years ago when I brought her home to Foster care for her after having all but one tooth extracted. She was really sick and is now facing kidney problems, but boy, she owns my heart.

I am still brokenhearted over losing both but it really killed me losing Pookie on Christmas Eve. It will never be the same. It was sudden & unexpected but I Thank God I was there when he crossed over. After about 9 or 10 months I adopted a little Chihuahua and named her Jeckle. She turned 5 on Halloween and it blind in 1 eye. I couldn’t bring myself to get another baby until I healed a little but I have enough love to share with a new baby. By the way my profile picture is of my Pookie.
                • Terri, that is so loving and generous of you to bring little Jeckle into your loving home. Post her picture in our Celebrate area so we can enjoy her with you, please. I’m going to be thinking of you this week.

Shadow is my cat I lost in 2009 and Pookie is my dog I lost on Christmas Eve 2018.
                    • Oh, no…I think holidays bring memories of those no longer with us to the forefront, and to lose Pookie on Christmas Eve must be especially difficult for you. And this year, with so many sad and strange things happening, it may be that much harder. How are you coping? If you have been reading some of our community members’ notes, some aren’t having trees or really celebrating while others are doing even more for the season. (I didn’t put up a tree this year for the first time in decades). 2018 wasn’t that long ago, and I am hoping, with time, you will have more smiles than tears when thinking of Shadow and Pookie. Please let us know how you are doing, Terri. Toni
