Chris, unless you’ve felt the deep pain of saying goodbye to a beloved pet, it’s hard to explain. Everyone in this community understands, and I know I feel it when I read your words. Poor little kitten. He had diarrhea all night. We’re being tested again today and I expect we will be saying goodbye 💔This is so sad because he’s eating and playing and we’re getting very close. I can see hoe he is getting smarter each day. I hope he is negative for panleuk, but it seems unlikely. I’ll let you know what happens. Toni

Hello my Friends. It is with a heavy and broken heart that I write. Wednesday I picked up three six- week old kittens to foster. Sunday, two were euthanized due to Feline Panleukopenia, a highly contagious, lethel disease in cats. It is similar to Canine Parvovirus in dogs. The third kitten tested negative, was given medical treatment, and he is home with me. We are hoping, but not hopeful, that he will survive. I am determined to get him through this, but it is a long shot💔It is critical that we vaccinate against this, and other diseases. Hi Tonight, I lost Six 11 years ago & there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t miss him. He got his name Six, because I got him on January 6, 1996…a month before my 40th birthday.
