This is my 9wk old little one, Bailie. I\’m having a hard time missing Pooh, but have found her a comfort. She\’s not here to replace, Bailie is here to renew my heart. She\’s a handful, but I love her. Can\’t wait to see how she grows up.-
Oh My Dawg, Kat 🙂 What a little darling she is. And so many toys to destroy – Good Mom! No, Bailie is not a ‘replacement’ for Pooh, no one ever would be. Nor should she be. Bailie has her own life to live and share with you, and you have more love and joy to give her. Pooh would be so happy for you both. May I share my story with you? After losing my beloved BG last year I was not at all interested in meeting another. But, Boots needed a home and of course I took him in (if I can keep one out of a shelter, I will). Well, as bereft as I was, I didn’t have time (nor the desire) to feel miserable anymore. It was a lesson for me – that as broken as my heart was, it was patched up and mended by having a new love enter it. I never forget my BG, and sometimes still shed a few tears, but mostly I am grateful and happy for the times we we shared. I hope that is true for you and your new baby Bailie.
