Grim was an 11 year old border collie mix. We had him since he was about 9 weeks old. He passed in April. He was always so excited to see us when we came home. He had so much personality and always made us smile. His death consumes my thoughts. It’s been 4 months and I can’t get past it.

  Oh Tara, I don’t think four or five months is very long to mourn, and hope you will be kind to yourself. We have resources to help you if you like: our grief counselor (click the box on the upper right side to contact him directly), and two books: “Griffin’s Heart” – part supportive book, part journaling for your feelings, and a digital book – “101 Ways to Help Your Heart Heal after Pet Loss” you can download.
