      Ein was a sweet Cori who was originally my sons dog. They named him after the corgi in Cowboy Bebop. When they left home, he stayed with us. Ein loved squeaky toys, playing fetch was his favorite game. He and his rescue brother would go camping with us. He wad 14 1/2 years old when we lost him, the whole family was with him when we had to let him go.

        What a sweet story – the love your family shared with Ein lasted a long time and it is so nice that everyone was with Ein as you granted him a peaceful, comfortable passing. That’s really the final gift of love and care we can give isn’t it? It hurts to say goodbye and I hope you can find some comfort in recalling the many joys and love you shared.           Tracey, I am sorry for your loss 💔 It sounds like Ein had a wonderful life with you filled with love and much happiness. A life he and his brother would not have if they hadn’t been rescued by you.
