Takoda went for his abdominal ultrasound today and despite two Gabapentin, he still needed additional sedation. I found out that he needed to have a presedation exam because it’s the law when going to a new practice before they can do anything the animal must have an initial exam, even if he goes regularly to his own vet. The ultrasound Dr. will share results with my vet with in24 hours so hoping my vet will call/text me with results before I leave Friday for vacation. 🙏 Since they didn’t call me directly, whatever they found wasn’t a must treat ASAP. I think Takoda did better than his mom, as u was an emotional basket case. I think I was crying more than if I was saying goodbye to him. I’m just hoping the emotional roller coaster will be out of commission for a while because quite frankly, I’m tired of being on it.

Oh Suzanne, this is so hard for you and I am so sorry for your distress. If Takoda was calmer, so would you be, don’t you think? Maybe you are picking up on each other’s emotions. Hopefully the results will be good and you can enjoy your vacation with family. Don’t feel any pressure to join us this week, but DO keep us updated when you can. Of course, we would love to see you Thursday. You are in our thoughts. {{HUGS}} Toni
