        • Four weeks?! Wow, that’s young. Will you tell us about how you met Mandy? Of course no one will ‘replace’ Mindy. Nor should they. But how generous and kind of you to open your home and heart to a new love – Mandy. That’s so wonderful for you both. Mindy will always be your love, and I hope you have smiles when you think of her. We’d love to see them both – Mindy, and Mandy, and hope you will share your growing up with Mandy with us ๐Ÿ™‚

This is my Mindy she went over the rainbow Bridge on February 3rd of this year I still have a hard time with this
              • Sandra, Mindy was a pretty girl. I am sorry you had to say goodbye. Of course you are still having a hard time, Sandra – it’s only been a month, and we hope as time passes, pain eases, which it will, but that’s not really helpful right now while you are going through the process of loss and the attendant grief. What are you doing to help yourself get through this? Cleaning out her things, or donating them? Exercising or talking with family and friends? How can we help you – that’s why we are here. Sending you a HUG…

                    • Oh Sandra, you are a dear, kind person. It’s really okay to hurt. It’s really okay to share, and know you have us to share that with you. Bless you, too.

My eyes are swollen a lot to my friend I have to find peace to but its hard right now I am going to rescue a little dog again because I know my little Mindy would want me to give love to another like I did her when I’m ready I will
                                • Patchy was not only the love of my love life shew was a registered ESA. She got the same in return. How old was your baby? Can you send me pic? I hope you get to the point you’ll rescue another fur baby in remembrance of your Mindy 💞 I’m looking but not to replace. Never ever happen but maybe fill the void a little.
                                    • I just don’t believe in breeders when so many need homes. Even at that I get totally disgusted because the $ seems so much more important than a forever loving home. Plus I’ve been judged because I live in an efficiency rather than a mansion. What the hell has that got to do with love, please 😱
                                      • Dear Valerie. So many things you bring up: Loving does not have anything to do with environment or life style. It’s the size of the heart, not the house, that matters. Adopting is always a lovely, caring thing to do. Everyone has a purpose. Each animal is a special love, never meant to “replace” another. It’s hard to re-open your heart and home after the devastating pain of losing a beloved pet, but you are very generous to re-open yours to a new love. It is generous, thoughtful and kind of you to extend your sympathy and encouragement to others in our community who are also hurting – it’s why we are here – to support one another with kindness and understanding. Thank you for your sharing, and caring. Let us know if you adopt a new love, and let us know how you are doing.

I’m still missing her so much it hurts so bad I cry I had her cremated so I would have a little of her with me Mindy was an angel sent from God to save me I was so depressed and didn’t want to live anymore and there she came one night on a rainy night she came running in the park and I went out there and called her to come with me and she already new where to go she ran up on my porch before I got there she was 5 years old then she was 18 years old when I lost her
                                                    • Oh what a story, Sandra. I agree – they seem to know where they need to be and will be welcome. I have had four cats walk up to my door over the years. Literally as if they knew to be there with, and for, me. We must send out energetic vibes that they pick up, or something. Sandra, your tears are a good way to cleanse the grief and one day your smiles will come before the tears, and then replace them. Please , let is know how you are coming along, and if you want, let others in our community know how you understand their pain. Do be in touch. Toni
                                                        • Oh, you may want to look at our Memory Vessels or “Forever in Glass” pieces for the cremated remains – they are really special and meaningful unique ways to carry your memories with you. Toni
