Hi all. I lost my 14 yr 7 mo old Border Collie Pippin on 1/18/24. My heart is broken. I cry at least once everyday I miss him so much. I had him since he was 11 weeks old, I trained him and did obedience training with him, he was my child, as I am unable to have children. How will I ever get over losing my boy? When he crossed, and the vet let me know he had passed, it felt like someone pulled my insides out, it nearly dropped me to my knees. The pain was so incredibly raw, I literally ached from the loss.
I’ve been told that in time, getting a new dog will help heal my heart, but I’ve seen the cost of Border Collie puppies now, and I’ll never be able to afford one, which breaks my heart all over again. View
