She was such a sweet girl. I adopted Delilah she was 1 1/2 years old. When she was put to sleep she was 16 1/2 so I had her for 15 years. My constant companion and shesaved my life so many times as I was in a bad place mentally. My favorite memories are of her being with me everywhere I went. I’m coping ok. I miss her terribly and my heart hurts so much. My daughter has be my rock, she went with me to put her to sleep. I thank God for that. I picked up her ashes the other day and that was really hard. I cried all the way home. She is home now. In the process of making a little shrine for her. So there will be a picture to come when it’s done. Thank you all for the kind words.

My beautiful Delilah crossed the rainbow bridge a week tomorrow. I miss her terribly and my heart is shattered. I love you Delilah until we meet again.

We are here for you, with understanding and care, Toni

                    • Nina, what a lovely tribute to Delilah. And what a long, loving life you and she shared. It is a sad fact that our beloved pets are only on loan to us and that one day we have to part. But our memories are with us forever and I hope you have many good ones to bring you comfort. {{HUGS}} Toni
