Marilyn, I am sorry for your loss of Bandit 💔 I understand what you mean about Bandit being you faithful companion and being your world. My Romeo was the same for me and saved my life too. Stacey, I know the feeling of coming home and nobody us there to greet us. It’s the worst. I lost my Romeo in January and we were together 24/7. It is still hard for me to leave the house but worse to come home because he’s not there. I dont know if or when I will get over that. This grief is hard.

Toni, I am grateful for your kindness and encouragement. Although, I am still having a hard time remembering happy memories of Romeo at time, I do remember them sometimes. I haven’t dreamt of him and aside from looking at his photos, I’m not able to see him clearly in my minds eye and that is disturbing to me. I’ve read that it might be because I’m still so full of grief. I am trying to get past this, but it’s hard when it starts over again every si g morning when I wake up and realize he is gone. The morning ritual is gone and is a constant reminder. I am better for sure and I am just taking more time than some to get through. But, that’s okay.

Brony, thank you . My thoughts are lonely too. I think about you too and hope you are managing with crazy Lucy. She sounds like a handful, but, also a very special. I know having her brings you a little joy and helps with your loss.
You have a great attitude and you will overcome the damage of that stroke. You may be the tortoise, but, the tortoise won and you will too.

Hi Toni, thank you for your concern. I guess I am doing okay. I have been trying to be positive. I am trying to move ahead and Im finding it hard. Life is empty without my Romeo and each day is is a challenge for me because there wasn’t a single thing that didn’t involve him. I still cry a lot. He used to be everywhere in this house and was a constant in my life and now it is empty. I will continue to try and remember the happy times of our life together instead of those last final moments and hope that with time the pain in my heart will ease.

Hi Christina, I am so sorry for your loss of June 💔 I know how hard it is to lose our fur baby. I am still struggling over the loss of my Romeo even though it’s been 6 months. Life is so painful and sad without them. Take care.
