Sorry for the late response. I still cry alot. My daughter helps me I talk about the memories we have had with Jasmine. I cleaned out her water dish and gave the rest of her food in the bowl to my daughters cat Jadye.Jadye is 3 and would try to play with Jasmine. But Jasmine didnt like it she really didnt like other people but us. I walk into the kitchen and still cry. Every morning I would get a wake up call from her to feed canned food. What hurts the most is everytime wenwould open the fridge she would be there yelling at us to give her something like tuna. Everytime I would get a turkey sub from subway she would sit and yell at me to give her some. Sorry I’m just rabbling. Thank you. Prayers for you toothless. How are things going?
        • I have experienced, as I’m sure others have, just what you are talking (you are not rambling – it’s an outpouring of emotion ) about. It’s the little daily things that really trip you up – the tuna, the sandwich, the trip to the store for cat food and realizing you don’t need any…it makes it very real. And Jaime, it’s only been a few days, not even two weeks. Of course you are crying and sad and mourning. Of course. Please let it out with us. We are here for you. Hugs, Toni

I lost my Jasmine 9 days ago. She was 15. I had her since she was 4 weeks old. Life is so hard without her.
          • Oh Jaime, you made me cry. My toothless, old (17) sick cat looks just like Jasmine. She is being treated for a few progressive conditions and I anticipate her leaving me in the not too distant future, so seeing your Jasmine really touches me. What happened to Jasmine? Do you feel torn – that you both shared a wonderful life for which you are so happy, and you knew it would come to this, and now you are just so absolutely SAD to your core? I know, Jaime…. it’s a horribly sad time. Please, tell me how you are doing and stay in touch. I am mourning with you…..Toni
