I have a 6 yr old Shepard mix, a 3 yr old lab and recently my daughter and her family moved home…They live on our land. Our dogs need to become socialized with one another…They all think they are the alpha dog….We want them to co-habbitate without bloodshed…Any suggestions??? View

hahaha Cynthia I have had this same problem, but not with as many dogs. I know that it takes time for sure, and until they all figure out which one is the true Alpha Dog it will continue. We’ve taken our Chihuahua out to visit our neighbor often and after 2-3 visits our dog realized quick that he could only do so much with her……this is a great ask-a-vet question. Can you post it there?
Sounds like you have some work cut out for you. Have you tried taking both of them on a walk together?
